I've been listening quite a lot to soundtracks lateley so here's my thread.

You listen to ost's as well? Any favorites? Worst?

Right now I'm loving the ost to Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, I mean Bowie in portugese?! It's sorta great.

I yeah, I love to listen to soundtracks... Some of my favorites are Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill (1&2), Oh Brother Where Art Thou... Bleu, Amélie, Girl Interrupted...

And then there are those to musicals like Hair, Nightmare Before Christmas, 8 Femmes and OMWF (duh).

I OWN soundtracks. I don't listen to most of them...but the ones I do listen to are: Phantom of the Opera(musical and movie), Van Helsing, OMWF and Avenue Q.

I love the First Buffy one....some great Tracks on that
Teenage FBI, I Quit, Strong, Over My Head, Lucky, Keep Myself Awake, Virgin State Of Mind, Nothing But You, It Doesn't Matter, Transylvanian Concubine.

I Quit, Virgin state of mind and Lucky off this one are my fave faves
and i love off otehr Buffy related ones....Goodbye to you by Michelle Branch

On a side note....on a different site im talking to the beautiful Erika Amato.....the lead singer of Velvet Chain....Song - Strong in the above List...she made two appearances in Buffy....Never Kill a Boy and I was Made to love you.

yeah! toraly with you! :) some really great songs on the first buffy sound
I agree, the first BtVS soundtrack is awesome.

But my favorite soundtrack of all time would have to be from the movie Romeo + Juliet. The music on there is incredible!

I'm not a particular fan of soundtracks, I prefer scores. I'm a mayor fan of the KMN Score Remixes, I've got them all; the Enhanced Soundtracks by KMN are also good. As far as official soundtracks go, Amèlie and Revenge of the Sith are really good.

I love soundtracks. For me it's a great way of re-living a movie. My favorites are Kill Bill, Garden State, Amelie from Montmartre, The City of Lost Children, Moulin Rouge... and OMWF of course, that just goes without saying.

I own a ton. Most are from musicals, though, like: Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Wicked, Avenue Q, Rent, Fiddler on the Roof, Once More with Feeling, and I think that's it.

I also LOVE the Garden State soundtrack. I could listen to it for hours. So yeah, I'm a soundtrack junkie. 🙂

Garden State soundtrack is so wonderful, I listen to it over and over again..
I always like the Disney soundtracks. I guess probably because I spend 90% of my waking hours with children... but hey.

I love soundtracks, because there is usually a good variation of music on em, My fav's are Shrek 1&2, One Tree Hill(listening to it right now), The O.C.(I own the first 2, but the First one is amazing!). And I love the First Buffy album and Radio Sunnydale, they are really good

I can name a couple...

Queen of the Damned, The Punisher, The Craft, Once More with Feeling, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the original Buffy OST are all on my list of faves. Plus...I really don't own any other ones.

I was kinda pleasantly shocked to see Guided by Voices on a Buffy soundtrack. Coolness.

My fave soundtrack is probably Twin Peaks. Angelo Badalamenti, Julee Cruise. Very timeless, soothing in a really creepy and disturbing sort of way.

I like Danny Elfman's Music for a Darkened Theater, vol 2. Nice collection of highlights.

And I'm really liking the I Heart Huckabees soundtrack by Jon Brion. It's sort of sad, whimsical little 60's pop music vignettes. Very unusual soundtrack music.

Oh I forgot about that one. His musci makes a great movie even better, it just fits perfectly and for some reason I always feel all good when I hear it.

Fight Club
Trainspotting
2046
Great Expectations
Holy Smoke
Kill Bill 2
Once Upon a Time in America
Godfather Triology
Velvet Goldmine

That's it. For now...

Anyone who's seen Anchorman needs to run out and buy it, cause this is how a soundtrack is supposed to be.

Will Ferrell rocks my socks.

I own that Movie.....its Briiliant

Ron Burgundy: [singing] Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight / Gonna grab some afternoon delight / My motto's always been, "When it's right, it's right" / Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
Ron Burgundy, Brian Fantana, Champ Kind, Brick Tamland: [singing] When everything's a little clearer in the light of day / And we know the night is always gonna be there anyway.
Brian Fantana, Brick Tamland: [singing] Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite / Looking forward to a little afternoon delight / Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ignite / And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting.
Ron Burgundy, Brian Fantana, Champ Kind, Brick Tamland: [singing] Sky rockets in flight / Afternoon delight.

It is indeed and the soundtrack's got an introduction to every track by Ron the man himself it's awesome.
