Hey guys, I just wanted to draw this to your attention. Every day eBay UK selects a couple of deals from its most trusted stores to promote, and today's just happened to be rather appropriate. They're selling each box set of Angel (the new, book style ones rather than the ones that look like VHS cases) for £8.99 with free UK shipping! That's only £44.95 for the set! It'll be gone by tomorrow, so act quickly if you want to snap them up.

And everyone should buy at least three copies of Season 2. In case of fire/flood/apocalypse.... you can't be without!

I've got season 1 in the book style cover, and the rest in the cheap plasticky looking ones. They were all pretty expensive though. Seems a waste of money to buy them again just for nice covers, even if I'm tempted. 😛
 
I thought that one blue was a US version.

I know the Buffy ones are different. Kind of hoped the Angel ones weren't, since I want all the bonus material.
 
I'm tempted to buy them. I already have each US Box set in it's original big ass box release PLUS the Angel Complete Series boxset. But why shouldn't I but the UK editions of my favorite TV show?

Interesting. I just noticed the UK disc art is the same that we US people got in our complete series boxset.
 
The discs are the exact same for both regions the reason I know is that I bought both. Ok, I know that sounds beyond excessive but I originally bought Region 2 (Ireland/UK etc) but my neice and sister got their greasey paws on them and ruined em! So when I was in the States I bought the American version to replace them. They're the exact same. Also, I find the American versions are consistently and significantly cheaper than region 2.

Really? From looking at the discs on those pictures, I can tell you the Series Boxset of Angel and the UK ones are the exact same artwork. But the ones that were released WAAAAAAAAAAAY back when they were first released, in the big clunky boxes are completely different. They have the city of LA sky scrapers in the back with random quotes from the series. Those suck by the way.
 
I asked the seller and they can't check shipping to Sweden until Monday. But they said the price wouldn't be that much higher, so I might end up buying them anyway.

Both times it was the complete blue coloured boxset that I got. I never got the individual season boxsets.
