i bought it yesterday on dvd for 5.50$!!! i love that movie soooo much come on admit it you guys liked the spice girls!!!! well anyway do any of you have it?
 
naw...Hate spice girls!Rene you are brave to admit it.I have a confession...When they first came out, i loved them.Me and my friends and my little sis put on a concert at an elementry school lip sinkin to their songs..We have it on video.I taped over it...

I can't believe i just said that..Hehe *turns red*


But i HATE HATE HATE HATE them now...They should....Not be here...HATE!

Can't say that I like them, but I think it is *so* great that you stand up for what you like rene! I think it is totally awesome, I always see you doing that and I luv it! Go you, even it you gotta go with the Spice Girls!

I shall raise my hands as a fan of pop/rock/rnb and any kind of music... the Spice Girls as a group changed the face of pop music as we know it... they were the first all girl group to get on the cover of Smash Hits magazine... they were the first girl group to achieve like 8 consecutive #1 singles... they promoted a posotive message... the movie wasn't the best in the world but it was watchable... sure they were manufactured but at the end of the day, concert wise, they proved they could sing when they debuted for Pepsi in Istanbul... they did a world tour... they sold millions of albums and even though people hate to admit it... they're still talked about...

I have all the albums (Forever WASN't that bad!!!) and I also follow the solo careers, especially Mel C because lets face it, Northern Star was a cracking album 🙂 'Reason' not so good but it has its plus points...

Mel B's 'Hot'? Not the best album in the world but for what it was, it had her number one on there and a few other classic songs like Pack your sh*t, lullaby, Tell Me... but no 'Word up' 🙁

Victoria? Well VB.... lets not go there... the new single may do it for her though...

Emma... good first attempt... second attempt is going to be a hell of alot better....

Geri? Well lets just say Pop Idol was made for her... she had some great views and if she brushed up on the acting skills could make a glorious bond villain if she plumped up a bit and got them boobs back!!! 😀

Going to stop myself now before I seem a little obsessive....

When that movie came out, it was like my Buffy, LoL. Whenever I'd go over my cousins/friends house, we'd all gather around the television and watch that movie over and over and over and over again. Oh yes, oh yes, we even knew all the words to the songs, yup, yup. And we cried when whats her face had the baby.

Luckly I grew up and now wish that the story I told you never happened.... as well as the spice girls never happened....

Rene, I can only agree with and parrot what Chasity said. I think it's excellent, Criz. Never give in to the naysayers!

Myself personally, I can't say I was a big fan of the Spice Girls, but I also can't say I hated them, as I did like one (but ONLY one) of their songs, which was "2 BECOME 1".
Never saw their movie either.....I never watch those type of movies.......for they NEVER turn out very well. Lol.
I tried to do it with "From Justin to Kelly", and I nearly put a rusty nail through my eyeballs to forget the experience. 😛

But, you like them rene, so I say, party on! :: tu ::

Awwww, Rene, I think that you are SO brave to admit that. Especially here with everyone all dark and cult like...you have my utmost respect hon. I think that you set a very respectable example that we should all be so inclined to follow.

That being said...WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Rayne we all know that everyone here probably has one Pop like album or single in their collection... whether it be 'The Ketchup Song' or say Mr Blobbys chrimbo single 😀
 
I loved the Spice Girls lol They were like my favourite band when I was little and I was so obsessed with Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) lol So yeah, I like have that movie somewhere lol
