I was huge Spice Girls fan when I was twelve! I still remember all the lyrics and I have this box full of SG stuff in it. 🙂 There's videos, magazines, articles, books, pictures, posters etc. I was obsessed! I just loved them! I was in the last concert where Geri was part of the group and I cried when I heard that she had left the group... I can't believe how big fan I was... 😀

Oh, and about the movie. I really liked it back then, but I think that if I had a chance to watch it now, it wouldn't be that great anymore. 😀

They made a CD a few years ago. I heard they are all ugly with kids now. Is that true?

Nah only Mel B and Victoria Beckham have had kids 🙂 They're still pretty good looking and Emma Bunton looks like she could have another chart topping album next year 🙂 Victoria looks like she could have a fair stab at #1 in the singles charts this January... 😀

victoria is still really pretty and i have no idea what mel b looks like

lol...i dug the spice gurls...liked the dirty one...geri...lol...she was hella hott back in 9th grade...that 2 become one was a great song back then...totally agree with oldie...

whenever my bro starts talking shiz...i can always remind him that he went to see that movie...lol

don't know why they got so much haters in the end...cause they were pretty positive...guess the only way to not get haters is to be mean...and that's just gay...

The British press were really hard on the girls when Playboy published those dirty nude shots of Geri, they were all about girl power and posotivity and there was one of them, taking their clothes off for cash...

... Thats when things got dodgy not forgetting the work schedule... 😀

lol I loved them too, hey I was impressionable. i thought spiceworld was funny and i loved the fact they took the mickey of themselves so much. I say we stand up and BE PROUD hehe...we shall convince these none believers...

lol, Spice Girls r a good memory to remind our childhood (for my concern at least)
I liked them when i was younger, so i'm not gonna tell that I dislike now. As most of u said, they represented a change in pop music, mostly about the girl status.
it's funny now, when u hear a song from spice girl somewhere, coz u maybe don't like it as much as be4, but u can say that it was a part of u when u were younger ! 😛

I was still like a child when they were a big hit. I liked them, I secretly fancied them, except sport spice. Nowadays, I don't care for them, they all make bad music solo... except Melanie C, weird.

I LOVE that movie, but i can't find anywhere which will sell it over here.

Ii gotta say i still have the frst 2 albums and i still listen to them, and i don't care if people think i'm pathetic, because guess what?

I KNOW!

I have to agree..I did like the Spice Girls when they first came out...I even went to see them in concert lol

In my defense I was about 7 when they first came out 🙂

i think i was eight when they came out cause in third grade my friends and i acted like them and i was scary spice and we used to sing for the class......OMG how embarassing

I loved them when they first came out and I was in like 4th grade. I was so angry when my parents wouldnt let me name my new dog after one of them.

I was watching WORLD IDOL tonight, and they were like "we have a special musical performance for you. from the worlds finest girl group in the world, i present to you, victoria AKA Posh Spice" and she comes out in this velvet red dress and she looks not a day over 23 and she has all these background dancers in gang clothes. it was very ironic.

Yeah, she got rid of the straight short black hair. now its long and blondish.
