Spike and Buffy reunite

Unfortunately the vidoe is not available anymore... but it's called "Want to live like a normal person" and it has 3 parts. It's like a story and it's really good. I won't tell you the ending though (if you do find the video...).

Like, why hasn't Andrew mentioned it? Not like he could help himself - we all know he has a thing for Spike. 🙂 Seems unlike Andrew to not mention it:

"Oh by the way, Spikes alive! And he looked super-hot. Did you know that? I saw him in L.A. when we were picking up that crazy slayer chick Dana."

I would hope by the time Buffy and Spike reunite she's sobered up and tells him what a mistake he was. 😉
 
Do you really believe, honest, that Buffy doesn't care about Spike? Have you seen their journey during s6-s7? Can you honestly say she doesn't care? Or are you just blind? Let me tell you that: The minute Buffy will find out about Spike, she will take the first plane to LA. So I'm telling you, 100% she doesn't know yet. It makes more sense, if you think about it. Or you could be in denial, which is too bad for you...

And yeah basically I think Buffy would be initially PISSED that he didn't come to her right away, pissed mixed with hurt and I'd imagine her instincts would translate that into a reactional punch to the nose, followed by one of those looks of awe that SMG can do so well and then a jump right into his arms with a liplock SO HOT that it would rival the initial smooch from Smashed... I picture all this going down with no words at all spoken and Spike nervous as all hell. And loads more kissing and well, you know 😉 And then after the "you know" they'd have a long conversation where they hash everything out, unload all their feelings and fears and decide all this time apart was ALL the time apart they needed for a life time :biggrin:

That pretty much sums up every way I've imagined it. And I've imagined it A LOT, being a fanfic writer.

I think that it would be safe to say that Andrew did mention Spike's return at the first opportunity. (This is Andrew, here, tale teller deluxe. He wouldn't miss the opportunity to miss dropping a bomb that big. After a lot of embellishment, if course) Most likely, though, he would have reported it first to Giles, like the good little apprentice Watcher that he was at that time. Considering Giles' opposition to any sort of Buffy/Spike interaction, he would have sworn Andrew to secrecy in the matter, and I wouldn't even rule out his invoking a more powerful version of the spell that Willow fouled up in "Tabula Rasa," wiping the matter completely out of Andrew's memory.

That's all total conjecture, of course, but it would seem to go along with Giles' refusal to help Angel or even to inform Willow when Fred was being taken over by Illyria. He doesn't trust either Spike or Angel and would go to extreme measures to keep either or both of them away from Buffy, or her away from them.

yes, good point. one of the reasons why i came to really dislike giles. he was one of my favourites--i was so disappointed in his character turn.

much as I'd be disappointed of Giles to find that turn of events (the spell thing) to ever get made the canon explanation, I find it very plausible
In my Spuffy fantasy it would be something like this..
(I havent read Season 8, so in my fantasy, they're still in good ol Sunnydale =P)

Buffy: "Dawn! Hurry up, if you're not down here in the next 20 seconds, theres no Bronze for you! That includes dancing, possibly slaying and maybe a taste of my drink.."
*Dawn bounds down the stairs*: "Here!"
Buffy: "How did I know that would work. Now all we need is Willow and Kennedy, I wonder what they're.."
Dawn: "Snogging"
*Buffy gives Dawn a look*: "Stay" *Buffy makes her way upstairs, with Dawn watching*
*Doorbell rings*
*Dawn frowns and opens the door*
Spike: "Hey there Pet"
*Dawns eyes widen as she takes in what she sees infront of her*
Dawn: "Whatttt..."
Spike: "Guess I've got some explainin to do.."
*Dawn screams in a girly annoying voice* "Buffy!"
*Footsteps hasten hurridly down the stairs and then stop suddenly*
Spike: "Buffy.."
*Buffy stares at Spike open mouthed and tearied eyes*
Dawn: "So uh, do you still have your soul?"
Spike: "Um yeah I think so, I dont feel like killing and that, still feel like.. me"
Buffy: "Dawn could you please.."
Dawn: "I'm gone"
*Then Buffy rushes to Spike kisses him madly, tells him hes her one true love, shes baked and shes finally cookies and they live happily ever after*

I know its long, and not the best, but its a fantasy :-D
 
I don't think it would be incredibly awkward. I can imagine Buffy standing there wide-eyed and Spike shuffling his feet a bit, and then him saying "... hi, Buffy... how are things?" *sexy grin* 😉

Her old lover who she saw die was suddenly alive again and you think she would just walk away? Dream on, Bangel. 😀 Lol, just kidding, but there is absolutely no way she's just walk away. Spike was an incredibly important part of her life, she'd never just forget that. 🙂

WHITE AVENGER! I just read it and... I love it. LOVE IT. I like how you called The Immortal a "pedophile" lol Nice touch. You really have a handle on the character's language/way of speaking. I could really imagine each of them saying those words.

Seriously. I want to cuddle this story to my breast and keep it like a pet, that comforts me, and gives me hope in the world. 😉 OK, that sounded weird...but you know what I mean. Damn me, I have this pesky issue with personifying fiction...
