Spike and Dawn

Assuming that at some time, either in this season or later, when Spike meets Dawn again, do you think that they will ever reconcile their issues, primarily what Xander told her about the events of "Seeing Red," and be friends again, or is their friendship permanently destroyed?

Personally, I have my doubts that they will ever again be as close as they were in Seasons 5 and 6, though Dawn might return to the point that she could at least ce cordial and somewhwt trusting of Spike.

I think if Willow weren't around much, Dawn and Spike might get to the point that they were in 5&6, if only because Dawn needs someone to confide in, someone who won't go running to Buffy with everything she says.

I don't think they will be close friends again. I sadly think that neither of them care much about rebuilding that friendship. Spike got his thing and Dawn got hers. They used to be close because they were somewhat out outsiders, now, each one of them is an insider in a group.

But I can see both Spike and Dawn coming to an understanding in the future.

Sorry, anyway, I don't think Spike and Dawn are gonna to cross paths any time in the foreseable future, so the argument might be a bit pointless. Anyhow, I do think that Dawn will forgive him, seeing as (soulless) Spike and (souled) Spike shouldn't really be seen as the same person.

I always loved Spike and Dawn's relationship. It was sad but understandable that they never sort of worked out their 'issues' in season seven. I do think they were on their way though - in Get It Done, Dawn is the one who goes to check up on Spike after the exchange student demon throws him through the ceiling. of course this could have been because no one else would do it....
I do wish their paths would cross though.

I think that at the moment Spike's exactly what Dawn needs in season 8.
It would be awesome to see Dawn get angry at something Spike said and try to stomp on him...
Hahaha... And there could be many "big" bad jokes!
If a comical angle was taken I think they could get along great, but if the serious approach was taken I really don't think so. I couldn't forgive anyone that had tried to rape a family member... Souless or souled, it wouldn't matter.

I don't see how Dawn could forgive Spike and I think that if it happened it would be a 'we need him' type of thing, in which they would be trapped together lives on the line and have a heart to heart after which all would be well.

If Dawn were still a giant (were this to happen...) wouldn't it be heart to shin?

Anyway, I'm sorta hoping Dawn and Spike reconcile and hope to God they get together. Not because I'm a Spawn (...) shipper, but so all the Spuffies can shut up finally! 😛
