is it just me or do other people miss Spike and Dru as a couple? I mean they made a disturbed couple but they were great together, plus Spike was alot better back then more interesting, i dont know maybe i am strange but I tend to want them together the way they were agian, wait is Dru even alive?

Yes, because I want too. 😛 I loved Spike and Dru in the second season together and there's just so many fanfiction possibilities of them before they came to Sunnydale and I just think they were an awesome couple and in the 2nd season James and Juliet had awesome chemistry, IMO. And ahhh.. I just miss them. 🙁
 
OH yup thats how i feel, they are meant to be.... i wish she would come back, that would be a twist in the show! or at least thats what i think.
 
Oh yeah, definitely. I mean, Buffy/Spike, that's just getting old already. I love Dru. Nobody could play her better than Juliet. Her craziness just gets to me (in a good way), and Spike was so much more fun to have around when Drusilla was there. Right now I just want Spike to die and go away (not that I hate James though). Obviously, they didn't dust Dru for a reason, so I'm praying they bring her back (
not as the First
).
 
I so agree of all the couples either Buffy or Angel have had none of them came close to having the sort of spark Spike and Dru had. James and Juliet had an awsome chemistry which in my opinion has not been match by any two actors in any show they just fed of each so well (no pun intended). Plus they have that oh so rear thing for a couple on TV they actually look good together the only other couple on either Buffy or Angel that had that was Oz and Willow.

P. S Dru isnt dead she just sort of went away.
 
OH Yippie Skippie Dru is still alive..... sorry thats been bugging me. She was like One of the best on Buffy i mean to act that crazy takes skill, But of course Juliet could do it she is a natural
 
Spike and Drusilla were a good couple, but I think Spike has changed too much now to be with her.

he's got a softer side now, and she's just to darn nuts to be with him.
 
They were a great couple, but it wouldn't work out anymore! Like Darla/Angel doesn't work and Darla/Angelus does, Dru/Spike does work, but Dru/William doesn't!
 
i know this thread is old, but i just wanted to find a thread about Dru... she is so cool, she is crazy and funny... she's simply one of the best villians EVER!

And yeas, i also miss Dru and Spike, i don't like spike when he's all goody goody... it's booring!! he was much funnyer as a bad boy, and espacialy togther with the crazyest ever bad girl!! Spike was funny in s4, when he was all patheic and chained to Gileses Bath tub!!
 
Yep, I miss the couple a lot. Dru was at her very best when she was with Spike. Afterwards there was just something lacking...
 
Who was the real fool for love in the relationship between Spike and Drusilla?

Many say it was Spike, especially since Drusilla had cheated on him with Angelus during late Season 2, and eventually dumped him for good in South America.

My answer? I think it was Drusilla.

I believe that Drusilla loved Spike a lot more than many realized. I also believed that the main reason she cheated with Angelus in the first place was to make Spike jealous, because she feared that the peroxide vamp was developing feelings for Buffy.

Drusilla may have seen signs of Spike's feelings toward Buffy in episodes like "Halloween", when he seemed preoccupied with studying the Slayer's fighting moves and in "What's My Line? - Part 2", Spike's words before his confrontation with Buffy seemed to hint that he was looking forward to more than just fighting the Slayer. And Drusilla had witnessed that moment.

I think the scene in "What's My Line - Part 2" had finally led Drusilla to resort to the jealousy game, especially after Angelus had resumed control of the family. But that all blew up in her face, when Drusilla's infidelity led Spike to form an alliance with Buffy in "Becoming, Part 2". Poor Drusilla. Can you imagine how she must have felt when she realized that her love had formed an alliance with Buffy, of all people, to betray her and Angelus?

For quite a while, I had believed that she genuinely preferred Angelus over Spike, until I saw that scene from "Fool For Love":

DRUSILLA: Why can't you kill her?

SPIKE: You're the one who keeps bringing her up!

TITLE CARD: South America, 1998

SPIKE: I haven't said a word about the bloody Slayer since we left California. She's on the other side of the planet, Dru!

DRUSILLA: But you're lying! I can still see her floating all around you, laughing. Why? Why won't you push her away?

SPIKE: But I did, pet. I did it for you. You keep punishing me. Carrying on with creatures like this.

CHAOS DEMON: Okay, you guys obviously have a thing going on here.

DRUSILLA: I have to find my pleasures, Spike. You taste like ashes.

SPIKE: (re: demon) So this is my fault now?

CHAOS DEMON: (to Spike) I didn't know she was seeing somebody. (off Spike's look) I should take off.

SPIKE: Yeah, why don't you do that?

The demon blows a kiss to Drusilla, then walks off.

DRUSILLA: You can't blame the ghoul, Spike. You're all covered with her. I look at you... all I see is the Slayer.


Hmmm. I guess she had figured it was best to dump Spike, before she could endure the humiliating experience of being rejected by him. Unfortunately for Drusilla, it was not meant to be. For in the end, Spike did reject her for Buffy - and right in front of the Slayer in "Crush". Poor Drusilla.
 
I really think that they were great together. They made the best couple. He had to leave her for Buffy didn't he? Spiked where did you get the avator with Spike and Buffy? Under which character? Ive been trying to get one with them both in it but cant find it!
 
Man, I guess I'm the only one who is SO glad that they are over...I can appreciate the relationship they had but I can't help but love the man that Spike has become...there is so much more to him...I'm glad Dru is out of the picture and I honestly hope she stays that way...well, at least as far as Spike goes...

My dearest friend, I am with you on that one. Never liked them together in the first place. Never particularly gave Spike much thought until currently in S5 either. You are right, he is becoming such a great character and he would never be able to deal with her **** again. (can't imagine why he ever did in the first place) I will give DruJuliett her place as a great actress, I just didn't like the character herself very much.
 
I agree that Spike is a better character now then he was when he was w/ dru...and i am a spuffy fan but Spike and Dru even though they were weird and disturbed, they worked really well together. I hope Dru comes back this season on Angel in the present time and not just w/ William and Angelus
