Spike and Faith

I'm a Spuffy.

I say that proudly. Always have been, always will be.

However, there is part of me that thinks Spike and Faith would have been awesome together. When they're having that conversation in "Dirty Girls" (7x18) I think there was a lot of sexual tension.

Plus, that speech she gave Spike in Buffy's body, was fricking HOT!

Oooooooooooooh. Gotta say, I would have loved to have seen that happen. One night stand or something. I could see them ditching eachother afterwards and awkwardly bringing it up in later seasons.

Hmm, I think it'd be a bit dull if I'm honest. There isn't much of a contrast between them like there is with Spike and Buffy (or even Buffy and Faith), so personally I'd find it a bit meh.

I can see it as a one night stand thing though, rather than him with Anya.

Faith belongs with Angel. Spike belongs with Buffy.

They fit each other. But not for a romantic relationship. I just don't see that happening in my head.

I think that Spike and Faith would be a hot hook-up - and am honestly surprised that it never happened - but nothing more.

Buffy is Spike's true love. Nothing can touch that.

I think Spike and Faith are better as buddies. I didn't find their scene in the basement sexy or overflowing with UST or anything like that but I really did like the 'drinking buddies' thing they had going. Shame they never got to make that Faith spin-off together 🙁

I used to think there was something there, but not anymore. I definitely see the chemistry, but I think they work better in the drinking buddies scenario, like Tranquility said. I can see Faith in a relationship with Angel (but I hope they don't do that TOO soon in the comics) or with someone else entirely.

I can see the connection. They both quite earthy, physical people. Even a one night stand, wouldn't be out of the question for these two. True love? No guarantees on that in the Verse with any of the characters as far as I'm concerned.

You know.. I may be the first to say this. It may be virgin territory. But I was thinking of Angel and the scenes he had and what not.. and I remember thinking when he went into Willows bedroom in the second or third season that they really made a great scene. Then think of all the scenes in which Angel interacted directly with Willow, and there was alway something there.. not so much better the characters but I think the actors.

I think Wangel would have rocked!! (i mean willow by the W and not Wes in case it was not clear)

Even with the flirting & innuendo, I just don't think Faith would do it. She & Buffy are finally on OK terms, I can't see her doing that to the Buffster.

No, I think they're too much alike. What I love about Spuff is the friction that comes from their differences.
