Spike and Willow

We saw in "Lover's Walk" that Spike was drawn to Willow. In "the Initiative" he finds her and tries to bite her again, and after he can't he admits to her that he thinks she's sexy.
What would you have thought if Spike and Willow had ever become an official ship on the show?

A more serious answer is that I honestly couldn't see it happening. The circumstances that lead to Spike and Buffy getting together were unusual to say the least and there were an awful lot of factors involved, which could not have taken place with Willow. Not to mention that Spike wants to change for Buffy and he wouldn't have done it for anyone else. Also by the time that Spike is deemed to be 'safe' enough to date humans, Willow is no longer into men.
