I like soulless Spike with Dru, but I voted Other. I thought Spike and Faith had good chemestry in the one scene they had together.

Angel? Faith? Dru? O.O Of course it's Buffy! **SPUFFY!!** :P
:buble_eye

They "would make"? They were a couple. You didn't believe all that girl talk hogwash did you. Angel and Spike were totally undercover.

Hahaha!

I voted Angel, too. Gosh, the way they played off of one another in the last season of Angel was fabulous. I want more!

Seriously, I'm pretty big on Spuffy. But someone bopped me on the head today and said I could choose all three. The idea had never occurred to me before, strangely enough. I want to have my cake and eat it, too! So, in my ideal world, Angel, Buffy, and Spike are a threesome. The fight evil together, snark at each other, and then they go home and relieve all that beautifully written and acted tension. As long as I get to see more Spike and Angel interaction, I'm happy.

My vote went to Dru! For so long she meant everything to him and I think that's important to remember! Plus they were totally bad ass together!

I LOVED Spike and Drusilla. They were the best villians in the show and Season 2 was my favorite. I have to give my appreciation to Spuffy (I mean that was some hot stuff:flame🙂 but I will always love Spike and Dru.

Spike and Buffy were cute together...but I had to pick Angel. Because the two of them on the screen together makes me laugh like a hyena.
When Spike brings the beer to the board meeting. When Angel turns into a puppet. I love how they were able to actually make it look like they'd BEEN friends years ago with all the little hidden jokes and stories that old friends have, but also not be able to finish a sentence without someone snorting or rolling their eyes.
They kind of remind me of me and my brother.

I agree. They are the most fun to watch in a scene together - even more fun than Spike & Dru or Spike & Buffy!
Dru bugged you? She was my favorite villain!

I loved Spike and Dru. I thought they were awesome together. They weren't as awesome as Spike and Angel, but Dru is a big part of why Spike and Angel interact so well together. I thought Spike and Dru were tender, cute, badass, sexy, smart, gutsy... everything you would want in a pair of charismatic villains/lovers.

The Spike - Dru pairing made a perfect couple! They were so cute together, really caring and all. I think Spike's real L-O-V-E was Dru - simply coz I felt his affection for her more real than the one shown towards Buffy. 😛

Spike and Dru the whole way! Faith and spike could have been a fun thing to explore further but then there would be the whole buffy jelousy blah blah balh.

There's only one long term term girl for Spike, and that's Buffy. That said, I think a short fling with either Faith or Illyria would certainly be interesting.

You know, I think I like every Spike pairing (minus Harmony). I voted for Spike and Angel not because I really want them together in a romantic way, but because I just love to watch them annoy each other. They're so funny!

I really liked both Spike and Dru and Spike and Buffy, though.

He's just a good boyfriend. JM had it wrong when he said Spike wasn't. I mean, yeah, he's obsessive and freaky, but he was really tender and forgiving with Drusilla. And with Buffy. They both abused the crap out of him, and he only flipped his lid over it like one time each. He's the kind of guy who'll marry you if you give him half a chance. He'll stay with you through the ups and downs -- and we're talking serious ups and downs when it comes to the Buffyverse. He'll withstand torture to keep you safe. He'll love the entire package, warts and all instead of just the good parts. He'll be able to handle and even appreciate your dark side. He won't need you to be some paragon. He'll even challenge you to meet your potential -- and to deal with his warty, non-good parts, which are considerable. I mean, man... he's just a good boyfriend, in his own particularly frightening, vampy sort of way. If I weren't married already and Spike came knocking on my door, I'd seriously consider him -- fangs and all. Just the way he used to look at Dru and eventually came to look at Buffy... all that wonderment and passion and love... makes a girl melt.

So I guess I'd go for any pairing, provided he really loved the chick. That's what makes Spike special: his capacity for love. Spike pretty much rocks any relationship. He's a lot better in that department than, say, the Parkers of this world.

Well, I don't really like Spike but it's VERY true that he's a caring boyfriend, no matter who is the 'object of his love'.
yeah Illyria and spike... interesting?! and Angel and Spike are great together in a non sexual way! ( unless they're wresling with oils of some kind hehe)

You know, I think I like every Spike pairing (minus Harmony).

I agree. Harmony was just weird, it kind of came out of no where, but to be fair Spike had that eternal patience with Dru so it could have worked, but he seemed to use it a lot less charmingly with Harmony though 🙂

I think that's because she let Spike use her. She was too submissive. She wanted the vampire equivalent of hearts and flowers and nicknames and letterman jackets. Spike wants someone who will give as good as she gets (if not better) and force his adoration of her. Harmony didn't have it in her to do that, so she was just a convenient lay. Also, she was a rebound relationship. If she had only wanted to use him for sex in return, I'll be you he would have grown to love her. Spike always wanted what he couldn't have. He always wanted the untouchable girl: whether it was Dru with her always irksome connection to Angelus or Buffy... with her slayerness, (and, yes, her always irksome connection to Angel) the key ingredient for Spike's love seemed to be the implausibility of ever having that love be fully returned. Harmony didn't fit that bill, so she was only a rebound girl.
