Question Spike/Buffy Promos?

Did UPN ever do Spike/Buffy promo photos? There are plenty of Angel/Buffy promos from the 1st 3 seasons, and I see lots of FanArt of Spuffy. But I haven't come across official promo photos.
 
What kind of photos do you mean? I know there was one of Willow and Tara dressed up as witches for Halloween and it said something like Happy Halloween from us or some crap like that.

I love that Barq's commercial. I remember when it actually aired on TV. :) I still have my cans somewhere from that contest, too...
What I mean is that there are plenty of Buffy/SMG & Angel/DB photos, whether they're official WB promos or maybe in magazines. But not as many Buffy/SMG & Spike/JM photos. I'm not talking about screencaps from the episodes. Nor am I talking about FanArt that has both actors photoshopped onto one picture (& I'm not putting those down, they're awesome!).

Sorry but that one of the three of them is photoshopped to 🙁 I don't think there ever were any official promo shots taken of Spike and Buffy together. I would say that if they had taken promo shots for Season 7 that there probably would have been.

I always thought it was really odd that they never did Season 7 promo shots.

That's too bad!

But what about the thumbnail I posted- is it for real? Even if it is, it doesn't look like an official promo.
 
I forgot about that photoshoot that HisMrs posted. That was a cool one from Season 2. All of the other ones you linked to, including the thumbnail on the grass are photoshopped. Some of the photoshopped stuff you can get is so amazing though. I love that one of Spike and Buffy with the dragons in the background.

My personal theory is that they didn't realize until Season 7 what a following that Spuffy had gained. In the Season 5 and 6 promos, they didn't do any Spuffy shots (which I thought was very strange for season 6), but since there were none taken for Season 7 they had to get creative with Photoshop.
 
Season6 didnt even have any group shots outside of the actual group photos. And there was no reason to do Spuffy shots in S5 since nothing had even developed by the time they did them.
 
It was stupid of them not to do any Spuffy promo shots. How could they not know how popular they were? They spent all season 6 having them boinking for god sake!

I read somewhere a long time ago that the network refused to pay for them, since they knew the show was going to be cancelled... Don't know how true that is, though.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. 🙁 I dont' think either network knew what good things they had back then. Of course, don't even get me started on Firefly....😡

Ah, I see. I guess that makes sense. Sounds like something a network would do 🙂
Too bad though, I've always enjoyed the promo shots from various TV-shows, Buffy especially. (and frankly just re-using s6 promo shots did make them look like cheapskates back when)
 
Sometimes those photo shopped ones can look more like the real deal than real photos. To bad with the internet you can never really be sure.
