IDW's Angel comics definitely had their faults, but they did one thing perfectly: Brian Lynch. Whedon over saw After the Fall so obviously that was awesome, but Lynch did everything else worth reading from IDW: Spike: Asylum, Spike: Shadow Puppets, Spike: After the Fall, and Spike. He created an almost completely new section of the Buffyverse with his "Spike" run. During these phenomenal stories a lot of awesome characters were introduced. My favorites are (obviously) Beck, Jeremy, and Betta George (that Japanese girl from Shadow Puppets was pretty cool too).
So I'm wondering what's going to happen to these guys? Honestly, I wouldn't be too upset if I never saw Beck or Jeremy again but I think it would make a lot of sense to introduce George to DH comics. He was an integral part of AtF, so obviously he's canon. Such a great, fun character would make a great addition to Season 9.
