Spike & Clem

I am just doing a re watch of season six. I never noticed before how funny & cute Spike & Clem's relationship was. Firstly when you see them together in 'Life Serial' playing poker for kittens they don't seem to be very close but they know each other. Something must have happened between then and the next time we see them together. Spike brings Clem to Buffy's birthday party at her house because i'm guessing he's to nervous to go by himself and needs his "Wingman" and then in 'seeing red' Clem shows up at Spikes crypt with hot wings hopeing to watch Knight-Ridder. For him to assume this they must do things like that quite often! I love the thought of them too sitting in on a Friday night watching 'Passions' or something and gossiping about Girls/Buffy or skin treatments. It seems like such a BBF relationship and kind of like a teenage girls slumber party.
I know a lot of people will probably hate that but I can't help but think it is adorable... anyone else agree?

Oh I love Spike's and Clem's friendship too. It's so Spike but not... I mean early season 2 he doesn't seem so companiable, but it is clear that he has a need for companionship nonetheless (Dru fills that at the time) and without her, and de-fanged, he's still got that need for companionship, partly filled by his friendship with Clem. Which agree is adorable... I like that Spike's not really a lone-wolf kind of character cause I don't think it suits him.

I love the Spike/Clem friendship! It's so cute! Every time I see them on screen, I always go "Oh Spikey!" Just because like you, I picture them having like slumber parties and such. *sigh* If only we could have actually seen one....

A totally awesome night, in my opinion, would be to cuddle up and watch a bunch of chick flicks and eat lots of snacks with Spike and Clem.
