I don't get why actors charge so much! Does the money go to a good cause or anything? I get that their autographs and photos are worth something and they need to make money, but geez. I guess I can understand the photo ops more so than the autographs, but if it were me, I just wouldn't feel comfortable charging for a signature.

(or maybe I'm just bitter that I can't go, lol) 🙂

I agree. Charging for photos, sure, but for a squiggle on a piece of paper? Too much, imo.

you know, he was originally only going to charge $10 for the auto and $40 for the pic.

Psh, what changed his mind then, lol? It's not just James though. It's actors in general.
Maybe they charge so they don't have to sign everybodys stuff...I know I would love signing fans stuff and taking pics but to a point until its just to much for a day
 
Well some of these people don't have much of a career left. So going to cons and signing and taking pics is how they make their money
 
Do you reckon actors would charge you for their autograph if you just went up to them in the street? That would suck. You'd be like "OMG, I'm your biggest fan! Can I please get your autograph?" And then they'd be like, "Of course...for $30" Major disappointment. You'd be all 🙁

I also agree with NY.

Really...what was the last thing James did was Dragon Ball.EW. So I can see why he's charging this much...but also so people dont go crazy with asking him sign they're bag,they're shirt, they're face, they're dog's face...etc. lol

I get that, but I think instead of charging so much, there could be a limit or something (maybe like 3 items) as to what people want signed.
