That's the question. I've read all of Bryan Lynch's After the Fall and Spike: After the Fall. Read Angel: Aftermath. I like what I've read and heard good things about Lynch's two story arcs (Asylum and Shadow Puppets) both of which are included in Spike: Omnibus.

Trying to determine if it's worth picking up. Especially for the price of [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Spike-Omnibus-Peter-David/dp/1600105394/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1291151754&sr=8-1"]$17 in paperback on Amazon[/ame].

Thoughts?

Bought it - in the process of reading it and loving it. Stories it contains:
  • Spike: Old Times by Peter David
  • Spike: Old Wounds by Scott Tipton
  • Spike: Lost & Found by Scott Tipton
  • Spike vs Dracula by Peter David
  • Spike: Asylum by Brian Lynch
  • Spike: Shadow Puppets by Brian Lynch
Read the first three and in the process of finishing Spike vs. Dracula, which, for the record, is just a whole lot of fun. For the price Amazon has these, I'd suggest getting it.

Loved Spike vs Dracula (the art is exquisite), liked Asylum, hated Shadow Puppets with a firey passion. Seriously, I couldn't even finish reading it. I have not read the others.

I just got and finished mine. Liked Asylum and Shadow Puppets the most. But the art... well, sometimes I just really couldn't stand the art of the earlier stories. And Old Times has some continuity errors.
