Spike on Angel?

There has been many rumours of Buffy cast members moving on over to Angel, after Season 7 ends, but none of them have been confirmed until now.

At the 'Grand Slam' convention in Pasadena, America, James Marsters who plays Spike, is reported to have said 'I will be joining the cast next season on Angel.'

He said that Joss Whedon had asked him, and he had agreed straight away.

Whether this is good news for Buffy fans or not, only time will tell!
 
It has been confirmed yes.. and it is good news for me....cmaybe he takes Dawnie with him as he promised (S5 and 6 i think) that he would help protect Dawn. So if Buffy dies he should look after her. Well i think that anyway... ohh and Willow has to gay-up Xander hehehehe
 
What if, James' will join the Angel cast, but Spike won't, ever considered that option?

Anyway, I'm glad he's going to be back!
 
Spike on Angel, thats gonna be great! Loads of funny arguments between them two I guess, I mean, they both have a soul, both loved Buffy e.t.c. I agree, it would be great if Dawn came too, there was some sweet moments between her and Spike in season 5, and in Bargaining in Season 6. I dont understand why Spike would want to got to LA though, hope that gets cleared up at the end of this Season.......
 
I agree the interaction between Angel and Spike would be so funny. Also it would be good to see how their relationship changes during the course of the show.
 
LOL....i think James would be awful! i don't like him on Buffy, and i ertainly wouldn't want him to screw up Angel too...lol

And besides scifiwire.com reported just a day or two ago that Marsters said somehtign to the point of he's TRYING to get a contract with Angel.

Nothing has been confirmed with him yet, the article didn't even mention that Angel was seeking JM for any reason...maybe they have half a brain, but oh well...if thats what ya'll want good luck to ya'! maybe they'll give him some acting lessons before/if he goes over to Angel.
 
Oh God, I hope he doesnt fall out of the sky naked like Angel did
 
CharmedChosenOne it's good of you to voice your opinion but when it's really racking a good actor that is soo lame.. it shows how much of a person you are.. and that is'nt much.... see if you can get where he is today.... you'd probably end up like Cordy in the beginning of Angel! And thats bad....
 
yeah,i agree,it was harsh,and someone here is wrong,cos 1 person has said that it's confirmed that spike IS going to angel,and someone else has said it isn't confirmed he's going on angel,ya can't both be right,is there any evidence to back up either of those points (personaly i hope spike lives 😀)
 
Exciting!!!! I think that its awsome that James is moiving to Angel, i think that it will be very interesting to see how they interact 🙂 I have to admit that i have always said that i dont like Spike, but it isn't that i dont like him it is that i dont like him with Buffy 😉 But anyways i think that James is a great actor and i'm excited to see him on Angel next season 😀

Not confirment, but if it won't happen, I'll eat up my shoes ... so it's 99.9% certain!

Spike on Angel would be interesting. But, then they would have to determine who the Alpha Vamp is! LOLOLOL Hmmm...all kinds of interesting power struggles there. I think Spike and Gwen would be an interesting couple!
