I think they'd both help Buffy if they thought she needed help. I'm not sure I understand the question.. there needs to be a both option 😉
 
You mean coming up in comic #3?
I think they'll both help out at some stage - though i'm wondering if Angel will appear in the Faith arc.
But of course Spike will help Buffy - that's what he's always done.
 
I would say neither will be the one. While we will see them at times, it wouldn't really make sense for these characters to have this role when they will only be used sparringly, and will be heavily involved in the proposed Angel S6 comics from IDW. They don't live in Buffy's world anymore.
