Spike Shadow Puppets

Ugh, I could barely get through 2 issues. Spike Asylum is good & I'm reading Spike vs Dracula right now, but Shadow Puppets is just a pile of doo-doo. Lorne does not sound like Lorne at all. Am I the only one who holds this opinion? Should I give it another shot?

I liked Shadow Puppets but Asylum is much better. Much much better.
