Spike vs Edward

I LOVE Edward, but like Kean said, Spike would rip his head off. Spike has years on Edward for one... Spike is sensitive deep down, but nowhere near as mushy as Edward, he's loads more street smart and physically stronger I'd wager. Edward would be able to hear Spike's thoughts but Spike's thoughts would prob just be like, "Lets get this done before I miss Passions you bloody wanker!" so yeah, lol, Edward would be SOL. I'd think if anyone, Emmet would be a far better match for Spike :biggrin:
 
Given that Edward is a bit of a pansy I would say Spike of course. However we could just have them do away with each other and I would equally be happy.

Every time I think of Edward, I picture my litttle sister imitating him-- by shimmying around in body glitter.

I can't help but think of Spike in the Angel episode Destiny:
"Probably should've dusted you. But honestly... I don't want to hear her bitch about it."

Possibly, he'd just walk away laughing while Edward tries to look menacing. =/
 
Spike hands down. No way Edward would have a chance to kill him. I thought it was adorable that Marster's niece thought Edward was based of Spike. To cute!
 
I vote Edward would probly win, but Spike is way, completely, in every way, better. Edward is so depressing. Plus he sparkles and that kind of bothers me sometimes. Twilight is overrated. I was an obbsessive fan for a while but now I hate the whole idea of it. Spike should be given more credit as the best, coolest, and not to mention sexiest vampire of all time.

Seriously? Spike would beat Edward in a heartbeat. At least, if he had one. Either way, Spike would win.
 
Spike would win. Spike is a real vampire. He actually drinks blood and catches on fire in direct sunlight. Edward Cullen sparkles in the sun for crying out loud. What kind of a vampire is that? I hate Twilight. I'm sick of seeing Twilight merch everywhere I go. It drives me crazy. Twilight is marketed as a vampire film. It's not. It's a movie about two people from two different worlds who fall in love. There's not much vampire action in it at all. No bodies, Barely any blood...It's the pg-13 version of vampires.

I dunno. Edward has his telepathic senses to predict Spikes next move. Spike has a bit more experience with fighting. Spike's attracted to violence, Edward avoids it whenever possible. Edward stops moving vans in a single bound and Spike takes down big bads on a daily basis. If I had to bet, I'd put my money on Spike. But it's a fight I'd love to see.

I imagine it would go something like this.

Spike: "Are you going to quit your bloody bellyaching so we can do this, or what?"

Edward: "I just don't feel the need for violence. Can there be a peace between us?"

Spike: "Bloody hell!"

Edward: "It dosent have to be like this just because of what we are! We can still be civilized, and understanding! A fight would surely put us under societies negative eye."

Spike:"Oh I'm sorry! Did I sully our good name? We're VAMPIRES. That stuff's for the frilly cuffs-and-collars crowd. I'll take a good brawl any day. Wait...Havent I said this before?"

(Spike pounces)
 
There would be some serious ass whooping on Spike's end.

Edward will just sparkle and hide behind Bella.
 
Hmmm it would be an interesting fight defiantely, To be truthful the vampires from Twilight are extremely different from the ones on Buffy.

Honestly I think Spike has Edward hands down on the whole Strength and experience thing, but as said Twilight Vamps are different from the Buffy Vamps... See cause Edward has the whole reading peoples minds thing going on which is definately a plus for him because he can anticipate what Spikes moves are plus i believe that Edward also has speed on his side so to be honest I think it would be a hell of a fight but i gotta sadly go with Edward... on this one

Oh not to mention again with the differences... in the Twilight Saga it says that you know its difficult to kill a vampire because well Sunlight doesn't kill them, Crosses do nothing, Pretty sure Holy water is out, as well as garlic and probley Stakes... So another downside to spike...

Like i said i'd love to say Spike would win but it just seems like Edward has all the advantages for the most part but none of this could ever happen because they are too different you cant have two vampires from seperate myths exactly you cant have one thats almost impossible to kill unless you burn him where he stands or rip him to shreads and burn him against a vampire who can be killed by a simple piece of wood.

I didn't know TL vamps could read minds. However, Joss' vamps have minds that can't be read ("Earshot"), so that advantage gets nixed again, anyway. 😛
