Spike's arrival in season 5

As far as the sanshu thing is concerned, I think they both are deserving of the title of human. However, if you think about it, Spike had a little (very little) amount of good in him even when he was evil Spike. Angelus never came close. I'm referring to S2 of Buffy when Spike temporarily fights on Buffy's side to prevent the apocalypse that Angelus going to cause. Plus, when Spike [William] was human, you can tell he was genuinely good. Angel [Liam] seemed to be a little more, well, not quite as good. I guess I'm trying to argue for Spike to have the honors. Spike earned his soul by enduring treacherous trials. Sure, he got his soul primarily for a girl. But now you can tell Spike really is good and sincerely cares for humanity. Angel is cursed with his soul and there's always that chance he could lose it again. The only arguement Angel has over Spike is that he has had his soul longer. However, he hasn't really been fighting on the side of good that much longer. He only started when Buffy became the slayer. Spike started fighting evil before he even got his soul.
 
Hey all, sorta new here. Anyways, I was reading all your posts about how Spike might come back for Angel's 5th season. Some of your speculation sounds workable. But, who am I to say really? You guys know more than me. Now, I did watch Buffy's last episode and Spike's noble sacrifice and just a minute ago some though just entered my head. Spike was saying how he could feel his soul, that it was really there, and that "it kinda stings". Well, what if the amulet some how protected Spike's soul? I mean, it did sorta "activate" his soul to the point to where Spike could actually feel it, and we all saw what it did. Maybe someone at W&H could locate the amulet back at the hellmouth and get it and bring Spike back with the amulet somehow? I don't know....I feel like I'm just rambling on......
 
I am not sure how Spike will come back, regardless of how they do it, I think it will be a great addition to the show. Spike has really evolved since he first came to Sunnydale , from killer to "humane" vampire. His love for Buffy is different from that of Angel's love for Buffy and vice versa (Buffy's love for Angel/Spike). I can't wait to see the new season of Angel and the twists and turns that will happen.
 
season 5 will probobly be angel's last season...if not...second last...
 
I can't stop thinking about how Spike is going to enter Season 5. I keep thinking, "ok if he's going to be a regular, than he's gotta be in the credits, even if its the season premier". And Joss wouldnt want to spoil it for everyone, so i think he will bring Spike back before the credits roll. This is the normal order:

--"Previously on Angel/Buffy"

--Now, into the episode = like 4 minute introduction, usually leading up to a semi-climax.

--Credits

So my theory is that Spike will appear in the semi-climax. Thats pretty logical eh?

I like this! Then we could ALL be happy and have both of our most favorite vamps with souls become human and then probably die in a battle over Buff!
 
Maybe Spike will get a chance whether to come back as a human or a vampire. But we'll have to wait and see.

I also noticed a couple of things.
1. When Spike dusted the rock went by but you didnt see him fall appart compleatly, and when the rock passed he dissapeard. *My thoughts on this is- I think it transported him out before he died and put him back together elsewhere (my stupid thought)
2. Buffy smiled at the end.....and when she touched his hand it didnt hurt. *My thoughts on this- Is, I think Buffy knows Spike is ok....I think she knows hes safe....(there again my stupid theory)

What does everyone else think about this?

I think you've made a really good point, this whole Spike-hellmouth-alive or dead thing is so related to the prophecy that we can't know for sure cause prophecy stuff can be understood (or misunderstood) in soooooo many ways.
But I think you're pretty close to the real thing Dru.
 
I dunno wether this has been suggested before, as I didn't have the time to read to all of the posts. What if

Spike will drop out of the skies naked, like Angel did in Buffy Season 3. I don't think it was ever explained why, so maybe ... any thoughts?
 
Wasn't it the First who brought Angel back dropping him from the sky? So, why would the First wanna bring Spike back (assuming Spike's return has nothing to do with the amulet he was wearing at the time of his passing) after Spike destroyed the First's army of ubervamps, destroyed the hellmouth in Sunnydale, and totally fubarred up the First's plan to take over the world? Beats me, any ideas?

I thought that Spike went to get The Chip out of his head not to get a soul???????
 
I wonder who they'll bring spike back? will be fall from the sky or something like angel did when he came back from hell or what? hmm... should be interesting... but i can't wait!

i personally think when spike went all dusty his dust went into the amulet and he is living in the amulet and in angel s5 teaser he comes out of the amulet in the middle of the sunnydale ruins and is all human. I can't wait 'til angel s5. I think this is the first summers that i WANT to go by quickly.
Didn't Angel fall from the sky because buffy dropped the ring? 'Cause that what i thought sorta happend. I think it would be preety weird to have the same thing happen to spike though it would be nice to see naked spike.
