Not many people knew this but Spike was quite keen to send love letters to those he fancied. Drusilla was the target of his affections for many a long year, some folk even thought it was that soppy puppy Angel who made Drusilla go loopy when it was Spike's constant love letters. When she opened them a sweet little ditty would play; such as this one (best played loud enough for the neighbours to complain about the noise)

@SavvyZ,
because of the fan fic that I wrote, Dawns Happy Day, because it was so well received I decided to try another similar one, I first thought of Willow but she seemed to be so introverted so I decided to present Spike as Sunnydale's hot stuff and no it is not canon but thanks for thinking that. The next one is liable to be Spike's love letter to Buffy just before their Wedding, if you thought of Billy Idol you would not be out of place, thinking of a story to put in the letter is what is holding me back right now.

How about Spike gives Buffy a letter a day before their wedding day.

It's the letter he wrote when he was in the basement of the school, yearning for her and out of his mind.

One of Spikes Love Letters

Spike spoke to Willow saying he was about to propose to Buffy, Willow was stunned, amazed as it was not something she had ever considered or even thought of.
“Mind you Giles told me that Buffy has a thing for your look - a - like that English pop singer Billy Idol,” said Willow.

After playing the song
Buffy asked Spike why he sang the words “my little sister so often?”

Spike looked perplexed to Buffy then he looked out of the window,
“I mean Dawn,” replied Spike.

“Dawn?" She looked at the sky, "do you mean the time of day
or - oh, I do not have a sister,” said Buffy.
“You don't,” Spike was even more perplexed,

“In that case she probably hasn't got here yet,” he said.

Spike decided to do the righteous thing and send a letter to Harmony, it helped him to feel good about the time gone passed

Much to Spikes amazement Harmony was grateful to him, she loved that version of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac though she wasn't that impressed by Deep Purple's Child In Time.
(Spike was though)

Spike thought of this a nice little ditty of Mrs Robinson that he was going to send to Darla but then he considered the age difference between them and got a little embarrassed, still

well, it put a smile on Spike's face.
