Spoiler! Spike's possible interaction with the Scoobies in S8

So I'm sure this has crossed everyone's minds by now, Spike didn't get much interaction with the Scoobies in S7 besides Buffy and Faith. But the real question is, is Spike going to interact with the Scoobies this time? And if so what's going to be his relationship with them? Personally, I think Spike's gonna have a solid relationship with the majority of them.

Willow:Willow's suppose to be in the Spike comics so maybe we'll get some kinda reference to that, looks like their relationship is already positive

Dawn:I'm so hoping to see a Spike and Dawn reunion after all Spike was kinda like a father to her and it'll be interesting to see his reaction to Dawn/Xander's relationship

Xander:Spike and Xander have always had a "unique" relationship, some may argue that they had a romantic connection. And Xander's grown up a lot this season so I think they'll have a positive relationship for the most part

Giles:Spike and Giles have always had a rocky relationship so I can't speculate on this one but Spike, according to Scott Allie knows more then what Giles does in this situation so, who knows, they might get along

Faith:These two had a connection on BTVS S7, it'll be interesting to see if these two interact. But I can't really speculate on this one either

Interesting you see Spike as a father figure to Dawn, i never saw it like that, i'd say more brother and sister.

Why does this thread have a spoiler warning? You got my all excited; I thought maybe some preview pages had been leaked, or something.

Anyway, in response to your post; I'd love to see Dawn and Spike re-kindle their friendship. They'd need something new to bond with, though. The whole reason they bonded in the first place was their mutual feelings as "freaks" or outsiders (Dawn as the Key and Chipped!Spike). Now, they're both rather "normal."

I'm mostly interested in Xander/Spike and Spike/Dawn scenes. Xander and Spike just win the scene when they're together; they have such a great dynamic. And while Xander grew up a lot, I'm not so sure about Spike, he never seemed to see Xander, always viewed him as nothing. I've asked Scott about the possibility of a Spike/Xander scene -not everybody is a Spike/Buffy/Angel fan. And it seems that Spike will not have scenes with the Scoobies other than Buffy -which is a shame. The worst part about S7 was how the writers isolated Spike from everybody that's not Buffy, which made the character somewhat boring. I usually find Buffy's boyfriends more interesting and fun around Buffy's friends –Spike used to interact with them a lot when he didn't have a soul and his scenes with them were always made of win.

I am looking forward to Angel's reaction to Spike. I kinda want Spike and Angel to beat the crap out of each other for a bit. Then maybe start laughing about it, like in season five of Angel. Since we sort of know what is going on..but not really.(with the story line)

I am looking forward also to knowing if Buffy knew Spike was alive all this time. I sure she didn't. Or they would have mentioned it.(at least I would think so.)

Dawn and Xander's relationship could be one of two ways with Spike. I think he would get completely protective and threaten Xander to treat her right. Or he would be like..it took you guys this long to figure it OUTT???!!

I am intrigued to see Spike and Dawn interaction because I always liked their relationship, it'll be interesting to see now that she's with Xander.
Otherwise, obviously I want to see him interact with Buffy, I'm just afraid that the Buffy/Spike/Angel show will take over completely.

I want to finally get the answer to the question of whether Buffy knew Spike was alive or not. Have been waiting for that since Angel season five. It has been a long time coming. I'm also interested to see how he interacts with the rest of the gang and the new slayers too. I really can't wait for this final arc to start!

I'd love to see Spike interacting with other characters, but I'm almost sure that all his scenes will be with Buffy. Maybe he'll have a short scene with Dawn.
