Aint-it-cool-news.com has revealed how Spike joins the cast of Angel.

In a report about the casting of episode two of the fifth season, the Aint-it-cool-news.com site reports that Spike will come back as a sort-of ghost. That's not all; he will also be stuck to Angel.

"Spike's a dang ghost! Well... A major character in the episode will refer to Spike as a ghost - close enough, anyhow," writes the site's mole, Hercules.

"Cleavers pass right through Spike, as do doors and walls. He mocks Angel incessantly, and Angel has no means to escape the ghostly taunting!"

The episode, written by David Fury and Ben Edlund, also sees a deepening in the tension between Angel and his new employers, Wolfram and Hart. Angel returns to the US network the WB on 1st October at 9pm.

Well, Spike might start off as a ghost, but I really can not see continuing that way through out the season. We all loved "ghost Dennis", but Ghost Dennis , was not sign for 22 episode. so, I predict that Spike will probably turn corporeal
by the time "sweeps" come around. ( orat least by the end of the season anyway)🙄
 
lol....now that sounds a bit funny, no wonder we're going to see a lot of spike & angel snappishness...i look forward to that 😀 as for spike being a ghost, yeah, i don't think he'll be a ghost for too long...
 
I'm going to whine!!!!!! Why does Spike have to come back as a stupid ghost? At least make him SOMETHING! And he shouldn't be stuck to Angel either.

I will be funny if they start arguing in their jealous ways, but not with Spike being a ghost.

I vote for the not being a ghost for long theorum!
 
the amulet made him stuck to W&H, that is why angel is meant to wear so if he tried to leave he' d be stuck to wolfram&hart
