Spike's soul (spoiler)
Here's the thing: Spike told Fred that he was in limbo or something like it, that he thinks he's going to hell.
What i don't understand about this is that it's been clearly established that when a human is turned, his/her soul is no longer there, that goes where it was supposed to. When he was originally turned, he seemed to be a relatively decent boring, sniveling type of guy who wouldn't hurt a fly. Shouldn't his soul have gone to "heaven" or whatever then?
And if he's being punished for what he did in season seven, isn't that a little open to interpretation as far as "evilness" goes; wasn't he under the thrall of The First?
Just curious as to what your thoughts on this are.
