Well said LadyLavinia. I agree with a lot of that. I figure they will end up putting Buffy and Angel together which I don't agree with but hey, can't control that. But I think that no matter who Spike ends up with Buffy is his heart. She made him want to be a better man even when he didn't have a soul.

He loved Drusilla, even without a soul - she said they loved like that anyway.

But with Buffy, he cared about her, and loved her with ALL HIS SOUL

If Buffy's true love wasn't Angel then I think Spike would be Buffy's twisted but true love.

You all got it wrong, his true love is his mom. Come on, you all remember that episode, he wanted her bad, don't pretend or try and cover it up. Spike loves incest.
 
I really think that his true love is buffy becasue when she told him relentlessly that he couldn't love her since he had no soul, he went out and got one just so he could be with her. we all know how that turned out. Will spike still have his soul on angel?
 
I voted Dru, becuase I think Angel is Buffy's true love 😉
 
I never saw the episode "crush" in season 5 at first and I only saw it tonight and I think that Spike was so much in love with Buffy and she didnt give a S*it about him, she treated him like dirt and he gave her his life, his soul everything up for her and she couldnt even say "I'm sorry Spike but I dont love you" and it would have been fine but what she said was truelly uncalled for and had to make it worse than it is, Angel was EXACTLY the same vampire, both love her and cant hurt her but she can love him but Spikes not good enough. Ok I'm rambling now, just a bit shocked thats all...going now.....
 
dru's got my vote.. at least they were a couple together.. while buffy never really gave him anything back :|
 
FRED. Cause Buffy is allready ment for Angel, and he left Dru even before he had a soul ... I want to see him with Fred, that just feels right!
 
umm okay, even tho buffys true love is angel it doesnt mean that she cant be spikes true love.... (i dont think she is but still)

not bcos spikes true love is buffy that buffy's true love is automatically spike....

thats exactly why i voted dru... cos while spike gave and gave to buffy, the only one that will ever be her true love is angel...

not becos spike and buffy had a thing that spike is all about her... so yeah, i say dru- bcos dammit its dru

Dru didn''t deserve to be his true love, she hurt my little Spikey's heart. He dedicated her more than a 100 years of his affection and she dumps him for Angel ? And a chaos demon ? The girl has some dubious taste... And she knew that Buffy was his true love...as soon as he met her. She knew she couldn't compete with the Slayer !
