Hey, i was just wondering in spin the bottel why didn't Cordy know about vampires and who Angel was? She lived in sunnydale and hung with Buffy.

Good point. Didn't they all revert back to their 17 year old selves? Cordy met Angel when she was a sophomore in high school, so when she was around 15/16 years old. But who knows how magic works 😀

All I know is that she was supposed to be a sophomore....and at that point in the series she looks older than I do now, and I'm 23 😀

I know what you mean, Wesley and Gunn still knew about them!

I think it resorts them back to their pre-buffyverse selves.

Wesley was a Watcher = therefore he knew about them already.

Gunn had been fighting them for a loooong time, therefore he knew about them as well.

JMO though!

I think it took her back pre-buffy, I think Buffy came to sunnydale midway through their sophomore year, it could have been placed at the beginning.

It was deffently pre-buffy time, but the funny thing is when Cordy first seeing Angel in Buffy she says "Hello, salty goodness." And she says it again when she see's him for a first time in this eppie. I think it's pretty funny.

Yeah I wondered that myself, Because she was a teenager when she found out about all that stuff. But the only thing I can fingure out his that she reverted that the teenage time when she didn't even give vampires and witches a second thought. Or maybe its just one of those goof ups that some people usualy make when working with a series(s).

hmm I've been thinking about it while rewatching the Cordy arc in season 4, maybe it was Jasmine pretending to be Cordy? But she would have known... I don't know I think I am going with goof up actuly but that's just another thought I had.

Just watched it yesterday....it doesn't really make sense...they all revert to their 17-year old selves (Wes is Head Boy at his Watcher's school). Cordy knew about vampires and Buffy at 17.... all very interesting.

In sophmore year Cordy would have been about 16 or 17.

Yes she should have known about Buffy and SunnyHellmouth but maybe its an LA thing.

I didn't like the episode very much, I know Cordy was a real bit-ca but the way Charisma acted it out it was like she had never played a bad girl before.

Loved her top though 😀

Huh. . . that's soo weird.

:idunno:

I never thought about that before; but Cordelia should've known about it all. Angel included. That's just. . .strange.

But I liked the episode. I thought it was really funny. . .but yeah, I kinda agree, Charisma lost some of her in-tuned *****iness for this episode.

It could of been pre-Buffy but Fred was still at high school, she would of been at college or even crazy Pylean Fred. Although weed-wanting alien-probed Fred was fun. Maybe Cordy had some of that Sunnydale denial going on.

After thinking about this again maybe she reverted to her teenage self like in the eppys Welcome to Hell mouth or them up until she had her first freaky experiance.

Oooh. I agree. It kinda makes sense. I mean, Fred went waaay back before Pylea. . . soo, I'm guessing that's it too 😀

Thanks!
