this is what i heard :

David: Back on the show. We start back up in about a month - so, it's pretty quick.

George: And how much of an advance sort of vibe do you get on what's coming up? I mean --you want to know----?

David: I really don't want to know.

George: You don't?

David: I think that the season will bring a lot of.... I'm really exited about being evil again That's a side of me that's been kind of lost for the last season and a half. So, maybe I'll tear off some heads and see what happens.

what do you think????? is angel going to become angelus?
 
I think it's quite possible that he could turn to Angelus, however, what could possibly trigger the transformation in his present condition? On the other hand, when 'David' mentioned that he wasn't evil for the last season and a half, he must have referred to the time when his character allowed Darla and Dru to feast on Wolfram & Hart, and set them afire. True, that was quite evil, but he still had a soul!
 
oh no, I really don't hope Angel becomes bad again... I really don't like Angelus... And will the gang forgive him this time for becoming bad and a thread for them????
 
i liked angelus in season 2 of BTVS. it jsut showed davids amazing ability to act.
 
Then there's always "cheating" by using flashbacks and dream sequences...

well if angel does go back i just hope he doesnt kill anyone. Like fred or wes or even cordy!!!
 
He came pretty close to killing that partner from Wolfram & Hart (not to mention Wesley) after Connor was stolen, when he definitely *wasn't* Angelus.

I see Angelus as less angry, more sadistic. That was the difference between him and "Dark" Angel, who let all those W&H lawywers get killed by vampires and set Darla and Dru on fire.
 
angel back as angelus....hmm.... ::muses chin and thinks:: i don't know, it would be interesting to see him revert back to his dark self sometime this season...twists the plot about...
 
Maybe we'll get the chemical happiness as we did in season one; when the actress gave him a drug hat induced false happiness. I'm hoping it's just flash backs, because exploring the limits of his soul; how evil he can be with a soul, could get boring soon. But I also agree with Tyra, Angelus is more about teh sadistic pleasure of killing, whereas Angel has more recently acted through emotion; surely it's how other parents would react should something happen to their child (albeit not that dramatically), he was acting as any human (with extraordinary power) would act if one of their own was taken, not merely for the fun of torturing Holland 😀
 
OMG! I really hope that he doesn't turn evil again. Even as 'Angel' he already tried to kill Wes. W & H are already trying to make him become bad again. Maybe that's how he becomes bad this season. Maybe W & H succeed in their task. 😱 I really hope they don't though.
 
He may just be referring to how he gets real pissed off at Wesley, etc. and he acts bad then. To see some of David's real amazing ability to act, you have to watch Season 2 of BtVS and Season 2 of AtS. Buffy had Angelus and David was great in "I Only Have Eyes For You". Angel had David angry a lot, but it also showed he can be really happy and funny.

I've been dying to know just what W & H have been up to and why exactly they want Angel to be evil since the beginning. Possibly this season we'll finally find out?

I'm wondering what kind of spin the appearance of Connor is going to put on on whatever they have in mind for Angel. Do they want to lure him to their side as a way of getting at Angel? Presumably they don't know (quite yet) about him dumping Angel into the ocean (which could also affect their plans in some way). And do they still want to vivisect Connor to see what he is and how he can exist?
 
Thanks, Sekmet21. But the real credit should go to those evil writers for leaving us hanging with *so* many possibilities and wildcards...
 
Sekhmet2k1 I'm just as curious as you are. ::huh1:: I mean didn't they want him dead or something? ::dead:: Why is it that they need Angel to be evil again so important to them?

Tyra those questions you posted are making me want to see season 4 so much more now! I'm getting so impatient! I'm really curious to see what happens. Looks like this season's gonna be rerally good! :: tu ::
 
patience is something i didnt have before...and now they expect me to be patient about season 4....i really think im not going to live through this summer waiting.....just tell me something...anything?
 
I know the feeling. But I'm really hoping, like some other people, that he's evil in just some major flashbacks. I mean how many times can they possibly do the soul thing without it getting dry? It's just stupid. They should think these things out more!
 
Well it's pretty much the main feature of Angel isn't it; would we all love him as much if he wasn't all soul-boy-major-repenting-to-do (and again I am back to the leather trousers. One track mind, me? *veg* ) but I think it's an interesting area to be explored, it's how they do it that I worry about; it could get very boring I suppose
