I agree. You might be able to argue that Connor was the indirect cause of Wesley's exclusion from AI simply by existing, but I can't see it being his fault. Whose "fault" the estrangment was is a very complex issue in this case.

I like the idea of Wes being the one to set Connor straight about Angel and Holtz (not to mention Justine), although Connor probably wouldn't want to hear it yet. Wes has already shown some interest in the boy; he could tell he was Angel's son even from a distance in a bar fight (the time Lilah invited him to see Justine attacked by vampires).
 
i too hope wesley finds a way back into AI and angel turning evil could just be the way who knows! question: have they started filming yet?

That's true! I hadn't thought about it much because I was skeptical about Angelus returning yet again, but it would be one way to almost force a reconciliation between the remaining AI members and Wesley -- they would really need him and might be willing to grovel.
 
Must admit, i'm quite underwhelmed at the thought of Angelus returning.. though the last time we saw him (albeit chemically induced) was in season one.. David plays him exceptionally well but personally, i think it's been done before, in Buffy S2 (we saw just how evil Angelus was then) and unless they have something really interesting in season four that needs Angelus, it would be nothing really new i'm afraid 🙁 .
 
Well, as I've said before, they can always cheat and do a flashback or dream sequence containing Angelus...
 
no,oh no,oh nuts,no way,they cursed him twice already,and he's died as well before he could get his soul back,so how the hell is he gonna turn good again,man this sucks
 
The last time we saw angelus he was more sarcastic that murderous but times have changed. WH want angel to be bad so hes on their side in the apocolypse that is supposedly going to come. That way he can't prevent the world from ending.
 
I agree that Angel did say he loved Conner even though he was puttting him in the box, so I hope he doesn't go after him, Just don't turn your back on that kid cause he's::evil:: EVIL!!!. Go leather pants go😀 😀
