Spoiler Everywhere...

Aww just saw on there that Juliet did a bunch of reddit events.

Also it's an old show of course if you're just watching it for the first time you'll come across a lot of spoilers, I'm surprised that people are still spoiler free for old shows if they've gone into buffy areas of places like reddit.
 
I just don't see how you can call anything that has been off air for over a decade as a spoiler. I mean there has to be limitations on it. People use the term too liberally. There has to be a certain amount of time given in which if you have not seen a film or show in that time you cant really be considered a 'fan' and not worry about spoilers- especially if you are on a site reading about it.
 
Agreed. If you haven't seen all of Buffy after this long, it is up to YOU, not others to keep yourself from being spoiled. I say this as a person who is frequently behind on shows. As Mr. Pole said, people often mark things as spoilers that aren't, which then makes people not read because they think there's actually spoilers in there
 
If we went with the rule that everything is a spoiler unless said person has seen it then that would just be stupid. You would never be able to discuss Star Wars...hello massive spoiler!

Well, Faithy, I love you and all.. and while I am going to see it three times in the first three days, if you by chance happen to spoil Star Wars before I see it then it will be your arse.
Though I will say, the media is TERRIBLE about spoiling people. I mean, I've been spoiled by network tv ads for shows before they even air. A Wolf Watch commercial spoiled me for an upcoming Teen Wolf episode and I was not happy. And the internet is all about ads and clicks now instead of being respectful.

Yes, I know.. That is why I do not watch episodes for upcoming shows even. They usually spoil things in there. I think that sites figure there are so many spoilers on social media that if they have the spoilers in their title it won't matter as much. The thing that I think is really funny is when the link text says "You won't believe this person died on Walking Dead" so that's good, but then they have a thumbnail of the person they are talking about next to the text.. hahaha I guess it's progress.
 
I don't really mind being spoiled online, it's a given. But when people IRL purposefully spoil and film or TV show you are watching or planning to watch, I hate it!
 
Someone purposefully spoiled the World Cup Final result for me when we had to work that day at a concert venue, and had someone tape it and we were going to play it on the big screen after the show for everyone. And someone there intentionally told me the result to be a jerk.
