[Spike's Princess]

Wow, I just read this spoiler off the "element board for "get it done" (episode 15) 😱 . I posting the summery, so if you do not want to be spoiler (do not visit a spoiler forum) turn back now! This episode would leave you wanting more.:



Get it done:


- Buffy opens Wood's sachet, finds a turntable, lamp and some African shadow puppets. When putting the puppets in order, a story unfolds. First Earth, then
Demons arriving. Then Men. And a Girl, which the Men 'chained' to Earth. The turntable becomes a portal now. Buffy dives in. After a moment, a demon arrives from the other side.

- The demon is violent, and too strong for the SiTs, Willow (using her magick) and Xander to overpower. Spike arrives at the scene and launches an attack. At first Spike is kicking major butt, then the demon gets up and throws Spike throw the roof. Then demon takes off, and the Scoobies discuss how they're going to get Buffy back.
Willow thinks that the demon is needed as an 'exchange'. Spike comes back in,
determined to kill the demon.

- Buffy arrives in the desert, walks towards the sound of drums. She finds three old men in cowls. They speak Swahili, but Buffy understands. They say they've been
waiting for her. They've been there since the beginning and are almost at the end. Buffy is the Hellmouth's *last* Guardian. Buffy wants answers. The men say they can only give her power. Then they knock her unconscious.

- Willow tries to retrieve Buffy through magick, and momentarily becomes Wicked!Wicca Willow with black hair and eyes. She roars; Dawn and Kennedy are flung
to the side.

- The men tell Buffy how they created the Slayer. Energy of the Demon. The spirit. They begin to chant, trying to give Buffy the powers again (the whole time, Buffy insists she already has the power, and the men try to give it to her). The men say the demon power should become one with her, live and grow inside of her. The energy hits Buffy, and she screams. Tries to escape.

At one point, the demon energy tries going up her skirt, which had me do a double-take, especially considering the 'live and grow' inside of her comment.
Buffy keeps struggling. Then the demon mist shoots inside her (doesn't say where it enters) and Buffy cries out in pain.

- Back at the high school basement, Spike is rifling through his belongings. Pulls out the leather coat and puts it on. On his way out, he passes Wood, who remarks on the coat. Spike says he got it in New York. Wood now knows for sure Spike killed his mother.

- Willow continues chanting, opens up a new portal.

- Meanwhile, Spike is fighting the demon - and he getting off on it. Laughing, high on adrenaline.... He's *feral*.

- Buffy fights back against the three men. Says she didn't come here to get impregnated by demon mist. The men tell her that she needs the power, that she'd
disrupt the Slayer line by rejecting it. That she is destroying herself. She knocks them out.

- Spike kills the demon. Reaches into the coat pocket, and pulls out a cig. Strikes it off the dead demon. He's grinning in wicked satisfaction.

- One single man is standing left in the cave. He seems saddened. They offered her power, she only came for answers. Buffy says she is the power. And wants answers.
The man agrees. As the portal ignites he asks her: without the power, how will she be able to save the world?

- At the house, Spike drops the carcass of the demon. White light. The demon and Buffy switch places.

- Later, Willow asks Buffy what she saw in the cave ... and now we share the same vision: A giant cavern with a whole army of Ubies. As the camera pulls back, we see
that the whole town is burning. The world is coming to an end.

Sounds pretty cool to me! But also very stupid of Buffy to reject the Power. After all "It's about Power"

I guess Spike is finally getting used to having a soul and has decided to fight just as hard as he can. Hehe, I think the coat is like some kind of "armour" for him.. that's cool. So is this supposed to mean that even the Slayer, fighter of demons, is created using demon power..?

I wonder what Wood is going to do now that he knows Spike killed his mother..

That was pretty stupid that Buffy didn't accept the Power. She could have been powerful then ever.

I think Wood is going to try to kill Spike.

What is Buffy thinking? Or is she even thinking? She is going to let the world go to hell, literally! That is just wrong on so many levels...

she won't let it go to hell you all say it's stupid that she didn't take the power but do you know what in the end that power might have destroyed her.Look what happened to the First Slayer that could easily happen to buffy too much power sometimes comes at a greater price.And maybe she's right maybe she doesn't need it maybe she already has it maybe not to sound stupid but maybe it comes from within.

I thought it was interesting that Buffy goes back in time to talk to
the shaman in a cave. who happen to also speak Swahili. it remains me of Spike visit to Africa

suppose Spike did receive what Buffy deserves?

suppose that what they "could not",give Buffy, they had given to Spike?
I know that Spike shaman was a demon in a cave in Africa. But Buffy also talk to a shaman in a cave. both (the people outside the cave) and Buffy's shaman speaks Swahili. Buffy could be in Africa as well, considering the way she arrive there. Therefore, if they did give Spike something that could help Buffy, the first evil would want him out of the way, or evil. enter Woods. If Wood was to try to kill spike, and Spike kills woods in self-defense . Would Spike than lose his soul? (because, the first could have kill spike, so maybe he wanted Spike to lose his soul, or something like that. After all he was "trusted, with a soul.

#1: It wasnever mentiond what could or could not cause Spike to lose his soul, it was obviosly different from Angel so there is no telling if anything AT ALL could make him lose it.

#2: I agree with FredBurkle seems we are the only ones that remember what happened to the First Slayer. She became primal...ferocious void of humanity. She lived for one purpose and one only. her side was not clear, she attacked both good and evil alike and was vengeful upon the scoobs for summoning her strength to defeat Adam. She almost killed them all! Buffy knew all of this, she knows what it did to the First Slayer and she knew what it could do to her. Joss hinted before when this first aired in season 5 that it took evolution to bring it out of the slayer.
However...did it mention at all Buffy expelling any of the mist demon out of her body? it didn't up there, it just said she knocked everyone out...so did she say she didn't want it and just jump back through the portal? lol cause it sounds like she took the unwanted 'gift' with her!

and #3: I don't think it ever mentioned that Spike's soul-giving demon was a shaman...i think in all the spoilers it said, "a demon in a cave" but i could be wrong.

#4: yes i think it has been established that Wood has a beef with Spike killing his mother or whoever they decided to choose to be his relation.

#5: yes i think Spike's coat may be armor, but more n the sense of a trophy instead...

#6: And the line, "It's about Power" has been used by more than one person at more than one time...Kudos to Ally...although i'll elaborate, lol...didn't the first say that when she confronted willow int he library being that ugly blonde girl that knew she was gonna die? and then buffy also used that against the council when she toldthem she STILL wasn't gonna work for them, but they were gonna work for HER!

#7: more a question with this one, does anyone know if Faith is gonna be good when she comes back? i think i'd like her more that way, they've done the renegade, they've done evil, now i think they should attempt retributionist kick ass slayer power on for size!

You right. It was never mention rather or not Spike Could lose his soul. I hope he can't lose his soul.But when the first evil was talking to Spike as the mayor In "Lesson", it was implied.

No it was a demon in a cave. But it was Clem, who mention to Spike about the kookie shaman ::rolf:: right before his trip to Africa. the demon was a shaman as well. It's all connected. Spike getting his soul, and Buffy finding out about the slayers. I believe that Buffy might have been at the same place where Spike got his soul. What did Anya see? in beneath You? did she see Spike's soul or something else?

#7: more a question with this one, does anyone know if Faith is gonna be good when she comes back? i think i'd like her more that way, they've done the renegade, they've done evil, now i think they should attempt retributionist kick ass slayer power on for size!
