LMAO, I did exactly the same...then stared at the screen for thirty seconds before I screamed 'Gotta show the BB!'

It's a beautiful cover by Jo. I cannot wait for this issue. Release date is December 3rd, apparently.
 
With the appearance of Harmony surely the subject of Spike can be sidestepped no longer??

My thoughts exactly. Harm's not exactly known for her tact.

But I must admit, I am surprised. I had thought that if she was going to turn up in the comics at all, it would have been in A:ATF. I would have put money on that.

Not necessarily. If she grabbed one of Angel's vampire friendly cars and hightailed it toward Vegas, for example, she could have been out of the LA area and on the highway in less than an hour.

Good question, either there was enough time for her between leaving the office and LA being sent to hell or she was sucked into hell and we're going to get our first glimpse of what happens at the end of AtF.

Anyway, yay Harmony!!! I think she's awesome, which admittedly might have more to do with Mercedes being the most attractive cast member of either show than her actual character, but still.

There could be a third alternative. Maybe Harm actually WAS in LA when things went to hell, but she found a way out. then, somehow or other, she contacted the Slayers and made a deal similar to Spike's from Buffy Season 4, information in exchange for protection. If Buffy found out about what had happened, she would certainly take her crew in to attempt a rescue of the city, regardless of her current feelings for Angel and his association with Wolfram & Hart. She still wouldn't have to know about Spike being back until she gets there.
 
Yay Harmony! I love Harmony espically in Buffy. Shes the female Jonathan of the c-list Buffy charecters.

Well, as she turned traitor against Angel and Co in the end, the Senior Partners would be quite pleased with her, wouldn't they? So probably would have given her a free pass out of LA and not sent her to hell with the others.
