I guess that old country house is the new HQ.
 
Noooo... see the way Willow says "Buffy !" ? It's not a casual, i'm-fine-in-my-life way, it's a oh-that-brat-I've-been-going-out-with-left-me-for-the-two-nights-stand-of-my-best-friend-but-I'm-fine way.
 
The narration suggests somebody's been hurt, although it may just be setting up the Buffy/Simone showdown... the crack in the "family" facade.

Probably not... they've both obviously got roles to play in the upcoming story.

Besides, I don't think DeKnight wants to become known as Mutant Enemy's go-to guy when there are lesbians to be killed.

What!!! Did you just said Kennedy's going out with Satsu. No WAY!!

Btw, Willow looks happier than Buffy. Love Andrew, though.

Obviously I was just kidding you AndrewCrosset 😛
But I'm still hoping for that Satsu/Kennedy thingie. Besides, it gets published on my birthday... That would be a great gift, no more Killow, yaaay! However I know it probably won't go this way, I can picture this issue ending with Kennedy acknowledging that Satsu is good enough for the job, and Kennedy leaves, possibly after a more open discussion about Buffy and Willow.

I'll bet she was as surprised as the rest of us that Andrew didn't want to drool over Daniel Craig with her...

And Andrew's references clearly place the year at 2008 at the earliest, which really screws with the logical Buffy timeline... season 8 was supposed to start just a year and a half after "Chosen".

Lots of food for thought here regarding Andrew/Twilight theories... especially the fact that in the scene where Andrew slams the door open, his arms, the "whoosh" of the opening door, and the starburst behind the "SLAM" sound effect create the Twilight symbol.

Also, the fact that Twilight is fighting to rid the world of what he considers "Bullies": vampires, demons, spellcasters, Slayers.

Buffy needs to be very careful. Is she being led into a trap here?

I've looked at it quite a few times, and I think it does. I'm not the only one, either.

I will ask the editor Scott Allie about it next month, but I'm pretty sure it has to be intentional. Whether it's supposed to mean anything about Andrew himself is another question (which I'm sure he wouldn't answer).
 
well, i just love this comic! and im talking about all of season 8, not just this issue.

btw, why is it that everytime i see andrew in the comic, i just bust out laughing?! the writers have his character pinned down perfectly.
