I think these are for issue #5. This seems to be the solicitation:
Angel is plagued by nightmares and another menace for the streets of London: The new vampires, like the zompires before them, are leaving a trail of victims for the local police and Angel to pursue . . .

Angel REALLY looks like Dean Winchester in that first image. It's making me uncomfortable.

Why did you have to say that! Now all I see is Dean

I love the overall look of the first cover! Everything except Angel, he doesn't look like himself. He's too, I don't know, feminine looking. And he does look a lot like Dean, freaky.

I'm not surprised that the nuns are in the Angel's nightmares. Angelus had a particular interest to the nuns as well as having a passion for the convents. Convents! They're just a great big cookie jar. 😛

Okay that first cover is just an unused cover for a supernatural comic. That is 100% dean!

I would say that the biggest drawback of this season on the A&F side for me is how serious and generic-horror-noir it has become. Skeletal nuns( eye roll), what can be 'moar mortifying' ? Samnee's cover/s are my favorite because he manages to capture the spirit of AtS, but even his art is not saving this arc which is pretty none-exciting so far.

I think the artist who designed that top cover must have used a "Supernatural" promo for inspiration; Angel looks remarkably like Jensen Ackles. LOL

Victor Gischler (W), Derlis Santacruz (P), Andy Owens (I), Michelle Madsen (C), Scott Fischer (Cover), and Chris Samnee and Jordie Bellaire (Variant cover)

Angel is plagued by nightmares and another menace for the streets of London: The new vampires, like the zompires before them, are leaving a trail of victims for the local police and Angel to pursue . . .
