Spoilers From the Old Promos

I recognize the promo below as one I saw before the series started. It's interesting to watch it again. Victor as a doll was a spoiler. This line is a spoiler to come...

"Echo, Victor, Sierra. They're grouping".

Some of it is, I think, from the unshown pilot. Maybe other bits we will. I'm hoping for the bit where she speaks Spanish.

There's another one where she's a safe cracker. Haven't found it yet.

I love that Victor, Sierra, and Echo scene.
I love this promo i've never seen this full version of it weirdly
hopefully most of the stuff in there is being used cause I notice alot of the shots we're alternative from the ones seen in the epsiodes.

At :25 of this one Echo fights Paul in what looks like his apartment.

In the original pilot, "Echo", Paul gets in possession of a picture showing a sorority girl called Caroline who is, in fact, Echo, thereby giving him a first solid hint in his pursuit of the Dollhouse. Alpha, a rogue active, gave him the picture, expecting from him to bring the whole operation down. After Adelle DeWitt finds out about the picture, she sends Echo on a mission to get rid of Paul. [3] Paul also has an interaction with an informant, Keene, about the Dollhouse, where he insists on it's existence, although Keene tries to convince him that it's a myth. Keene is in fact Victor who was also sent by DeWitt to throw Paul off of his pursuit of the Dollhouse.

But wait, at :13 of the one below Echo is fighting Paul again at a different location. Boyd is saying "You made Echo an assasin". One of these has to be from a real episode unless Echo fights Paul twice in the original pilot.

I remember this promo, I watched is so long ago I was beginning to think it was just my imagination!

Yes. I think some of it is from the unaired original pilot, see when Victor is being lowered into the wiped chair (1:29), it's a completely different design. But, I really hope some of these episodes aren't the ones they're skipping around on. The clip where Echo is about to have her head blown off, by the spanish gangsters... I so want to see that one too.

Eliza said some stuff in an interview which may shed light on the insinuations in the old promos concerning the significance of the Doll's "grouping", and Paul meeting Echo.

In an upcoming episode, Dushku plays a blind woman who infiltrates a cult with cameras implanted in her eyes. It hits the fan, but she wouldn't explain how. Echo is developing a peculiar relationship with a fellow Doll named Sierra (Dichen Lachman, Aquamarine). Sierra is not as self-aware as Echo, but is inexplicably drawn to her. As to the extent of their relationship, Dushku was hesitant to speak. "I don't know how much I'm allowed to give up," said Dushku. "The Dolls are starting to have these memories and develop these little flickers of self-awareness and recognize one another and remember things from engagements. Of course, that's considered a glitch in the Dollhouse system and that's where all hell breaks loose. That's kind of where the show expands and where it gets interesting to me." Another interesting thing is that Echo crosses paths with Agent Paul Ballard (Tahmoh Penikett) of the FBI. Despite explicit orders from his superiors, Ballard is still investigating the Dollhouse, which many consider an urban legend. "I can tell you that there's upcoming contact with Agent Paul Ballard, and there is going to be some charged stuff in those episodes," she hinted.
