SPOILERS--Spike's Girlfriends In Issue 9--SPOILERS

Somewhere I recall someone here referring to Spider and her other girls as Slayers, and toward the end of the episode, they show up dressed in what looks almost exactly like Buffy's Slayer body armor but are they ever specifically identified as Slayers?

Also, if they are indeed Slayers, in the panel where all of the girls are lined up behind Spike, just before the "all bloody hail" battle cry, is the girl directly behinb Spike's left shoulder supposed to be Dana? She sure looks crazy there.

no I think that they are not slayers..as it is said they got some powers along with the spider legs etc after some wicca tampering....

No, it has never been said that they were Slayers, (though i do think they look slayer-ish). Gunn has been killing Slayers and they wear normal clothes not the tight black armour of the Spikettes.

I agree with most of the former posters. There is no indication that the Spikettes are in fact Slayers.

We'll probably find out more about them next week wednesday and the months thereafter, when S:AtF hits the shelves.

Okay, I just read Issue #10, and I see where the reference to the Slayers comes from. But I'm still curious as to just who or what Spider and her girls are and how they got hooked up with Spike. Maybe his 4 issue book will answer the questions.

well didnt issue three of angel kind give you some hints on where spike met them, you know the issue were illyria was time warping people..........
