I just started watching season 1 of Fringe and want to discuss it but I'm phobic of spoilers for this! I usually don't care too much. I mean I just started watching Bones & Castle this year & know there's a lot I need to catch up on, but I don't care about being spoiled on those shows. I didn't much care about Angel & Buffy either. But I've never even seen 1 scene of Fringe. So how do you guys feel B
about & deal with spoilers?

I saw a bit of it, it was okay.
I hate spoilers. They cheapen everything. I refuse to watch promos or interviews that contain spoilers before the seasons of my TV shows and I refuse to watch/read/hear spoilers from shows I haven't watched but might. In my opinion, you're slapping the writers in the face when you read/watch/hear spoilers. If they wanted you to know that piece of info, they would have told you officially in the story.

I managed to do Bones this past summer with no spoilers (and I live in the house with a Bones fanatic who's insane and sucks at not spoiling... she and I didn't speak the whole time I was watching Bones). I also did Buffy and Angel this year with no spoilers.

The only time, I'm ashamed to say, I have a weak spot for spoilers is with season 8. This board makes it so hard. I have read every spoiler for season 8 posted on here since I got caught up. Before I got caught up I didn't read any (except one that someone should have put in spoiler tags but didn't). *sigh*

Congrats on watching Fringe. I watched the first half of season one without subtitles and gave up on it. Gave it a new chance and are now really loving it. Totally catched and would love to hear what you think about the show. I promise not to spoil you.

I rarely go out of my way to avoid spoilers. I rarely go out of my way to find them either but sometimes I look some up. Don't care about spoilers when it comes to Glee for example. But it has happened that I've come across huge spoilers in other shows that I wish I didn't knew.

When I went to see Titanic at the cinema some nob-end walking out of a previous showing loudly proclaiming that he was surprised they killed off Jack at the end 😡

I actually always read every spoiler I can find. Because then I know the show is going somewhere! Like when I was watching Lost in the same time it was aired, I got more and more the feeling the story was going nowhere. So I stopped watching because it was a waste of time. Then when the show ended, I read lots of reviews, spoiler and understood "Oh, they really were going somewhere with that" and now I want to watch the show again.
Spoilers also made me want to watch Angel! When I read things about Angel in here, I thought "Oh, this is going to happen in that season? Oh and THAT happens in that season? Jeez, this season seems awesome!". Before that I just thought "Well Angel is basically like Buffy but in a lame version right? I mean Angel is lame so how can his show be good?" but the spoilers changed my mind.

I already had bad surprises with spoilers tough. During a very, very dark time of my life, when I was, haem, a Twilight-fan *Yeah, I know, ew.*, I couldn't wait for the 4th book to come out in French so I read spoilers and I thought "Nah, that's impossible. Nah, that's not gonna happen. I mean come on. Is that Twilight or some cheap fanfiction? Oh and Bella will...No joke! That can't happen. No way."
Then when I read the book, I realized the spoilers were true, that was very disappointing (it was the begin of the fall of my addiction).

But really, most of the time, I love spoilers. I'm currently rewatching Pretty Little Liars and the suspens was unbearable the first time. So I read spoilers on the net and thougt "Ooooh, I see! It doesn't make any sense and it's a crazy plot, but at least I know who is -A, hahahahaha". It's called dramatic irony, you know something that the character don't and you wait for the revelation *so says my teacher*

So...Yay spoilers!
