Nice to see another Laker fan in the house. There are so few other people I know who are Laker fans that its amazing to run into someone.
My favorite sport is baseball and my favorite team is the Boston Red Sox.
Though I like football as well and there I root for the Vikings whos colors are purple and gold same as the Lakers. or as a friend of mine who is a Knick fan refers to them "Hollywood Fakers"

Sorry Kids, I'm from one of those states in the "middle", so I'm not much a Lakers, fan I'd have to say my favorite Sports team would be the Pistons, But my favorite thing to watch, is U of Michigan football!!!! go blue!
Being a Brit I have to go with proper football (or "soccer" as our American friends insist 😉). The team that I follow is West Ham United but it's always been a long-distance love/hate affair as they're based in London and I'm not...
I'm more of a sport watcher than player but I do like to follow the progress of the various England teams (even though they invariably disappoint me). I did enjoy the recent Rugby World Cup victory - one up over the Aussies after years of humilation in all the sports that were invented here...🙂

I'm with you Mr. Pointy, though I tend to detest sport, if I'm forced to watch one under thread of death or if it'll get me a night with Mercedes; I'm going to pick football (soccer). And since I was born in Rotterdam, my club is Feyenoord, they won the UEFA-Cup two years ago. Manchester would be my fav foreign club.
And I tend to be semi-interested in baseball. It's a weird sport, but in it's way fascinating to me.

I have no real interest in sport anymore, used to be a soccer fan namely Man Utd, then I like Basketball and Miami Heat and now i dont really like any of them. I like watching skateboarding/bmxing sometimes though

Even though I live near Liverpool, I have to say I'm more of a Manchester United fan. But football is not my fave team sport.
My favourite sport would have to be Rugby League.....a better form of Rugby Union. Although unfortunately our Great Britain side didn't win against the Aussies like the union players did.
Everyone reading this is probably thinking...what?...lol....Rugby League isn't that popular in the UK, it's mainly Rugby Union thats played.
