Spotting BTVS/AtS Actors In Other Projects

And in Bandits (2001), done briefly prior to Buffy (2002).

I have seen a lot of actors in a lot of things, but I saw them before Buffy, so never knew who they were. Like James Marsters in PS I Love You. or Emma Caulfield in an episode of Supergirl. It is only since that I have been really noticing them.
 
Iyari Limon- Kennedy- in King Cobra (1999) an Anaconda rip-off that makes that film look like a masterpiece.
Bianca Lawson in Bones (2001) pretty underrated, especially since the 'urban/ghetto horror' subgenre is extremely patchy.
Marc Blucas in They (2002) eh, it was atmospheric but not very coherent. He was the concerned boyfriend to the troubled main lady.
Mercedes McNab in Hatchet (2010) Okay slasher but the sequels were actual better.
 
Another I remembered, Marc Blucas in Knight and Day.

Huh, I did not know that! But I did see that film before Buffy, so...
Charisma and James appeared in an episode of Supernatural.
Marc Blucas was on the first two seasons of Necessary Roughness.
Christian Kane was on The Librarians and Leverage.

The Librarians was where I first saw Christian.
Emma Caulfield and Kali Rocha are in the movie  Timer. (2009)

I knew going in that Emma was in it but I had not done a deep dive into the rest of the cast, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Kali in there. That's right, Anyanka and Halfrek reunited!

I also got a kick out of the fact that Emma's character is looking for her soulmate, and Kali's character is a matchmaker. 😂 One of the writers had to have been a Buffy fan for sure.

I read somewhere that Timer was Emma's favourite project.
Okay, technically not BtVS, but the original Buffy, Kristy Swanson, in SEAL Team. Starring, off course, David Boreanaz.
 
For anyone who might not be aware of this - YouTube has a section of free films (with ads), which they rotate frequently.

I popped in a couple of days ago and SMGs film Simply Irresistible is there. Hadn't seen it before so I finally took the plunge. It's...not good.

Upon further scrolling, they've also got a film with Charisma Carpenter titled Heaven's Door. Not sure if I'll watch that one, but for anyone interested, I thought I'd mention they're there!

A little while back they had Dudes & Dragons - a bad film with James Marsters.
 
Seth Green (Oz) played a philandering dentist in "Dear Dictator", a film about a schoolgirl in a Social Studies class where the assignment was to send a letter to some important political figures and she chose the dictator of a country that was undergoing a revolution.
 
Criminal minds has a ton of buffy actors as well as an entire episode that renames ALL the guest stars in homage to Buffy characters.

In the epiaode Hastag, the victims, suspects, etc. all have names made up from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel characters: Tara Harris, Riley Summers, Alexander Chase, Jonathan, Andrew Wells, Dawn Rosenberg, Joyce Giles, Charles Lorne, Daniel Osbourne, and Connor Holt. William Pratt too. Pretty sure i missed several. The kids attend Sunnydale High School. Which is in Maryland for some reason!

i will make a fullish list of the Criminal Minds guest stars who also appeared on Buffy and post later. It is long. It includes Bailey Chase, Michelle Trachtenberg and Mercedes McNab, all in memorable roles... And of course Nick.
 
Kaylee and Simon are in this ep of Warehouse 13. Was confused by what I was watching for a moment.
 
marc blucas had a prominent role in first daughter. he did a really good job. he really grew as an actor.
