Spring Clean šŸ˜

Gutting the wardrobes/clothes/shoes this weekend.
Ordered some wallpaper samples for the living room then I'll match the paint.
Planning on painting the bathroom in the Spring as I have the colours already.
 
I vacuumed the walls and made the bunnies a new house set up. Anya hates it, Xander loves it. They havent quite finished their molt yet but they are so close and I am so over the fluff, so I did the big clean today. Just dont look at the rest of the house haha.

The dogs were stealing all the bunny poos before I started vacuuming, so I will not be surprised if I have dog spew to clean up too later!
 
Completely reorganized my workspace today and it looks BEAUTIFUL and really neat. Drew up some rough schematics for an additional shelving unit and I canā€™t wait to put it together when I have some free time. Would complete the space perfectly.

As far as home, plan to go through my closet this weekend and ditch things I donā€™t wear and havenā€™t worn in years (I have tons of shirts šŸ˜­). We have a Goodwill in town, so thatā€™s where theyā€™d go, but thereā€™s also a thrift store aimed at low income families nearby. Might do that instead. I also have some creative projects in mind for some decor around my home, but I might need to rearrange some stuff for that to happen. Big item on my mind now is a large art piece, so thatā€™ll likely be this weekendā€™s project. šŸ™‚
 
I want to take at least one more bag of clothing to the charity shop next week.
 
Things are cooling down in this part of the Southern Hemisphere at last. It's actually cool enough to wear a shirt and jacket outside and not sweat profusely. Although not in Australia, where my sister and nephew have to endure 30 C/86 F days. Ick. Over here, it's 23 C/73.4 F.

Yeah still over 30C here but at least the humidity makes it easier to breathe now haha. I want the long white cloud to move over and cover Oz.
I spilled beetroot in the fridge again. So I'm gona be cleaning that today.
 
I want to go through all my storage boxes, I have loads of fabric style storage boxes, which are just hidden dumping grounds for stuff, so I want to go through them and start organising them.
 
Whenever I try and sort out storage boxes I always seem to find I need more boxes!

I now want a tool box for crafty tools. I could get a craft box but I suspect a toolbox from B&Q will be cheaper than a craft box from Hobbtycraft.
 
I need to wash the dogs towels and bedding. The poodle doesnt seem very happy with the way i folded her blanket on the couch tonight. I may need to come up with a better bed for her. The other dog is happiest in her crate. I have tried unsuccessfully to transfer her to sharing the couch, and then just fluffy bed on the floor, but shes truly happiest and most settled in her crate. She wont even stay on my bed with me.

I will totally forget all this in the morning.
Also need to clean the middle shelf of the fridge again. I spilled beetroot again. Maybe I should leave it until after tomorrows burger though because Im likely to make the same mistake.

Laundry flooded with the rain so I should take the chance to mop the floor in there.
 
Furniture polish makes such a difference in dusting! Keeps the dust off a little longer too.
I used to use it at my cleaning jobs all the time, but it has dropped out of the budget years ago. Now I have added it back and it is so much better than any home made remedy šŸ˜€ Im all for things that make life easier! This is staying on the shopping list from now on.
 
I have really fallen behind with the housework. Proof that I can not have an active or social life plus maintain a house. Its one or the other. I really hope this rain sticks around for a few days so Im not tempted to play in the garden or with the ponies. Maybe the rain will keep me IN the house where I belong so I can clean it.

Silly little list but I will be lost if I dont-
Washing -towels and sheets, switch from blue to back to pink. Wash the white kitchen towels and switch to grey.
Vacuum with the bag vacuum, its a better sucker
Dust and polish the furniture
Clean the table and benches in the kitchen
Then start the bunny rug washing once everything else is washed (they're currently out in the rain being rinsed for free).
Oh and the bathroom. I must get a steam cleaner, it will be easier than trying to hold a scrubbing brush. The shower is my most hated to clean, I always hurt myself doing it!

Me too, but had a good day of getting stuff done today. Still loads to do, but at least I feel like I've made a good start.

I need to sort out my coats, they're everywhere and I need to find space to actually hang them, and possibly get rid of a few.

So... you are not supposed to hang clothes on wardrobe doors?
Ugh, I got nothing done I wanted to do before summer hit. So my goal for this fall is the same as last:

Set up fire pit in backyard
Clean out hot tub
Set up chicken coop
Take down old fence

As for my house, itā€™s super dusty which Iā€™m sure isnā€™t helping allergies. I really need to attend to that.
 
My aim on Monday is to get at least one bag of stuff sorted out and donated to the charity shop.
