To get us started: Favorite Spuffy moment?
 
I don't think I can pick a favorite. I do love the moment in Smashed when you see Spike realize, "OMG, this is really going to happen." Another of my favorites is the last scene in Fool for Love when he goes to kill her and ends up comforting her. That scene perfectly sums up his inner conflict and shows without a doubt that love is winning out over his evil side. Lots of great season 7 moments, too many to list!
 
After Life - from the moment he sees her on the steps right through to when the Scoobies come crashing in...

BUFFY: How long was I gone?
SPIKE: Hundred forty-seven days yesterday. Uh ... hundred forty-eight today. 'Cept today doesn't count, does it? How long was it for you ... where you were?

Stupid Scoobies! I wanted to smack them all following that scene.
I made a banner last night with a scene from Intervention, with the Buffybot.

And I was left wondering - why does Spike own a pink quilt?

Some of my favorite Spuffy moments were from the episodes Buffy & Spike got together from a spell / with the bot, even though they weren't exactly genuine they were still hilarious.

"I'm helpless against you, you fiend!"

Also, not sure on the quilt. Maybe it was Harmony's?
 
I loooooooooooove Something Blue. That was really hilarious and my suspicions (great chemistry with those 2) were totally confirmed.
 
At the end of Season 5, when Buffy tells him that she was counting on him to take care of Dawn if she didn't survive the last battle. "To the end of the world. Even if that happens to be tonight."

I need help! Look at this video, the scene that starts about 1:24, not under the rug at Spike's but the other one. WHICH episode is that in?? I need it for a video I'm making and I can't find it for some stupid reason.

maybe doublemeat palace? if not there, an episode right around there in season 6
It's from Dead Things - Buffy's dream sequence. And quite possibly from the dailies of that scene, as the dream sequence is a very small flash that lasts all of a few seconds.

I have the Dead Things dailies video file if you want it.

My all-time favorite spuffy moment has to be their first ever conversation:

*Spike is clapping, steps out of the shadows*

Spike: Nice work, luv.
Buffy: Who are you?
Spike: You'll find out on Saturday.
Buffy: What happens on Saturday?
Spike: I kill you.

*Buffy is speechless, watches him leave*


I always get this weird tingling feeling of euphoria when watching that, it's so... Indescribable, lol. 😀

I finished my first video! There are a couple of places that aren't exactly how I want them. I may fix them later. But here it is 🙂

Parts of that poll reminded me how much I dislike As You Were, lol.

In season six the writers decided that they had humanised Spike too much and needed to remind us all that he was a monster. They tried to do this in As You Were with the whole 'Spike's an international arms dealer' rubbish.

Perhaps they convinced some of the viewers after this episode... but if they had shown the following during the break-up scene at the end of the episode, then I don't know how anyone could say that Spike couldn't feel or love.

I completely agree. Spike as an "international arms dealer" named 'The Doctor' was about the dumbest and most unbelievable "plot" the season ever came up with.

In regard to how some fans deny Spike's ability to love pre-soul: I think it makes it easier for them to demonize Spike, especially after what he did to Buffy. Admitting he had the capacity to love when he attempted the AR is difficult for some fans to understand. The fact is Spike has always existed in a gray area. He was never purely evil. He always have both evil and good characteristics.

It just doesn't make any sense, to me. The only redeeming features of the episode are the break up scene and the 'tell me you love me' scene.

And like a lot of the commenters in Molly May's poll said - this episode was absolutely horrible for Buffy. They took her to some low places with the "big" moments in Dead Things and Seeing Red, but this episode just piles on one small stress and humiliation after the other.

The moment in "Showtime" where Buffy saves Spike. The look on her face is just priceless.

I also love the last scenes of Beneath You, Intervention, Chosen and Fool For Love, but that scene in Showtime is my all time favourite 😀
