prophecygrrl, thank you so much for sharing. I absolutely loved that fic. It made me smile. Me loves my Spike and Buffy.

Can I also just say this;

THANK GOD FOR FANDOM. Sometimes I don't know how I'd get by without it, honestly. Bad week. Fic always cheers me up.

This is a WIP but I'm really enjoying it.

Chasing a Dream by The Enemy of Reality (can't link, but it's on Elysian Fields and Spuffy Realm)
The scars on her face have made her a recluse but when the bleached stranger barges into the small town like a black clad hurricane, he throws her quiet life right out of whack. He’s aggravating, unpredictable, and oh so hot.

The destiny she never thought she’d have is set in motion the minute she starts having dreams of being someone else. But how can she figure out what it means when she forgets as soon as she wakes up?

The story is AU but it’s a world that has all the supernatural in it.

I'm a big fan of fics that keep a supernatural element but don't follow the Buffyverse canon and this is a great one. I'm really enjoying the build-up of the Spuffy relationship and there's a mysterious plot unfolding.

Also, on my way here to post this I noticed that the Spuffy forum has exactly 1000 more posts in it than the Bangel forum (well, not once I've posted this, but anyway...)

That's because Bangel's so boring there's nothing for them to talk about, lol. 😉
 
A little late, but I went through the rec list again and started reading Where Pies Go When They Die. IT IS A WORK OF GENIUS. Really. I'm at the eighth chapter now (out of nine). I can't believe I waited so long before trying it. XD

Let's not be snarky, now. Actually, it's just that Spuffies are constantly finding more and more fascinating things to consider about Buffy, Spike, the wonderfulness of their relationship, and the potential of their future together. Bangel isn't boring. In it's time, it was beautiful and amazing in its own way. It's just that its time is past.

I've just started re-reading a fic by MsClawdia, after seeing a search for her fics come up on seeking_spike. It's an oldie but I'm enjoying it.

Has anyone recc'd Lirazel yet? (On LJ, she's penny_lane_42.) I just read a few of her fics, including Ars Poetica, which is full of amazing poetry.
