Spuffy love .
To me Buffy in spuffy love just craves. Spike loves for first time. This the main reason why it cant exist.
Buffy had found her "right" one. Spike still looks and hopes Buffy will be the one.
Spike even got his soul back cause of her. He changed his essence. But yet still she watches at him as nothing more then a simple uncontrolled hunger for what true love gives. And she knows she will never get it from Spike. That is why she despite what she does. Cant win her desires even though they are aimed at wrong man. She uses him badly.
Personally I love everyone in Buffy/Angel tv show. Every single character. And everytime I watch Spike I just expect for something hilarious. He is 5/5 to me 😉
He is legend ( I heard Angel and Spike are two of three best vampires ever. Dracula is the first). But here it goes. Spike is the man. In "Chosen" episode he is about to die. Amulet is a beacon. It kills vampires. He stands there and doing the best thing he can at site of death. He laughs at it. He cant say to death ; "not today" because he asked for it and he embraces it. But he can and he did say : NO YOU DONT to Buffy when her eyes wear teary and she wanted to say the last and most beautiful thing he will hear as he departs. That is " I love you".
He is strong. He was waiting for whole time to be discovered as the man with heart. Champion. Angel put shade over him. Spike knew it. But he never stopped being what no one can take away from him. He was Spike with every part of him. Too bad Faith is not his type - we would have hellova ride 😉
