I know I'm probably not wecome here, lol, but do you not think the fact that Angel just showed up in Sunnydale and Buffy was kissing him, and then she tells him that she sometimes thinks of a future of them together kinda says who she would choose??
 
BLAH! we're classing that as post-battle confusion...did she or did she not tell Angel to go and go home to Spike, where she called him her champion, gave him the amulet and spent her last night in Sunnydale with him?

In response to spuffy's question, I'm note really sure on that one. I do remember the conversation between Buffy and Angel in Chosen, and that bothers me. She had such a freaking huge thing with Angel, and I guess you never forget that first person you truly cared about.

But, that conversation was before Spike saved the world. After watching that scene at the end of Chosen, there really was something between the two. And it might be enough. We never got to see a reaction from Buffy if/when she ever found out that Spike was alive. I'm betting it would've been a good reaction!

But that only indicates Spike is a now thing, while she thinks of a future with Angel.

Also the fact that Spike died, I think would make Buffy move on, past Spike.

Good point. There is no reason to assume that Buffy would move on just because Spike died. The thing is, we have no idea what really went on after season seven. Nothing canon has been written (even though some like to think "Queen of the Slayers" is). So, who's to say that she wasn't still thinking about Spike and caring about him?

Hopefully, someday we'll get some answers.
 
we have no idea what Buffy would do if she knew that Spike was still alive...or at leat, undead. my mental image of it involves pushing Angel out of the way to get to him, and he 'accidentally' falls over a cliff edge! yeah, i've thought about this way too much! lol

anyway, i made an icon for the Cangel'ers so i thought it only fair that i make one for us Spuffies too! let me know what you think of it!!

ok, i'll start a new topic.

what do you guys think happened between Buffy and Spiek during that last night in Sunnydale? you know the part, where she walks down the stairs into the basement, and he gets up from the cot and they stand on either side of the room and look at each other? the scene cuts to them lying on the bed, his arm around her. what happened in the interveening time? anyone?
 
I really can't tell Joss said that it's up to us whether we wanted to believe that they made love or not for me I think not because they acted like nothing had happened the day after
how about you spikedBuffy?
 
i think they spent the night in each others arms.. nothing more... i do believe that she loves him.. obviously and it was just a night where they knew that they might die the following day in the battle ahead of them so they shared love and held each other all night...its was intimate cuddles lol... thats what i think...
 
yep.. omg i watched season 7 in the last few weeks.. i cry every time.. its just so.. isnt spuffy the hottest 'ship ever.. and you know what buffy did love spike as one of her lines was "why does everyone in this house still think im in love with spike" mhmm see... 'still' and yet she is... spuffy rocks my socks.. peroid!!! xxx
