Update Staff Decision

I don't think there is one person on this board that can honestly say they hate buffy or any of the charecters/actors that have played in Buffy.

That's the weird thing. I looked, but there's no 'general discussion' forum. Fair enough, because this is a board about Buffy. It's on 'GD' forums that the really heated differences of opinion tend to arise, though. Maybe this is all about 'personal crap'..? (everyone say, 'derr...')

I tried my best to read as much of this as I could, but I'm definitely unsure on exactly what went down, and I'd like to know since it seems like its a board issue, and pretty much the whole board knows what went down except me.

1 - Things were said about Lyri and Kean on Facebook - yes/no?
2 - Lyri and Kean stepped down from their moderation position, and have left Buffyboards because of the facebook thing - yes/no?
3 - 6 members were kinda put on trial before a mod jury, and the decision was to ban them - yes/no?
4 - Lyri and Kean were part of the jury - yes/no?
5 - All 6 members are permabanned - yes-no?
6 - Now that the "offending" members have been banned, does that mean Lyri and Kean will be back.. -yes/yes?
7 - Edmundo Badass still puts the hum in humour - yes/no?

And finally, I've noticed numerous comments that the boards have gone downhill this past year..:whistle: Could this be due to the absence of a particular member..:evilgrin1 I'm not saying anything, I'm just sayin..:twitch: Think about it! :winky:

No. That was only one incident in a long string of them.

More than 6, but it was decided that those 6 needed to be removed from the board.

No.

Yes.

Unfortunately, no.

Not everything Kean and Lyri were doing can be replaced by the current crop of moderators. Kean and Lyri had their mice into many aspects of the forum, so its not just a matter of doing double work but finding someone that can do (some) of the same work, period.

We have not replaced them. The rest of us are trying to cover them but as we were already short-staffed some things are just getting pushed to the back of the closet in favor of just covering their forums.
