I don't know if this show is doing well, ratings wise, heck not even sure if its still going in the states, BUT it recently started here(UK) after Bones on a Thursday night on Sky One and I have to say, its a brilliant show.

Anyone watching this?
Does this show deserve its own section here cause Gina is part of the Whedonverse🙂

Its on after Bones for Cripes sake.

Its a really good show with alot of potential and Gina looks HOT.

I dont actually like Gina Torres and Ive never even heard of the show. What is it about?

To be honest, BotD, I didn't think much of the show, other than the fact that Gina is her usual brilliant and gorgeous self. The premise and characters didn't really hook me though. Add that to the fact that it is doing very poorly in the US (likely to not go beyond the first season) and I wasn't really that interested in keeping watching after the second episode.

I've seen the trailers for this on Sky and I think I even caught the opening credits after Bones had finished once but it just didn't grab my attention, other than the double take - "wasn't that, you know, her out of Firefly and Angel?".
I'd probably watch a couple of eps if I lived alone to see what I thought but I have to take into account Mrs P's likes and dislikes as well (apparently it's THE LAW! 😉), so I tend to only watch new shows that appeal to both of us...unless of course they are shown when I can tape them for later viewing and I can actually be arsed to dig out a tape 🙂

That's one thing that works well between myself and the girl I'm seeing at the moment. We have almost identical taste in television.

My advice here though, Mr P.? Don't waste your time digging out that tape. 😉

I suffered through the premiere, but never wanted to watch another.

My suggestion - if anyone wants a Gina fix, they should wait for the old Alias, 24, or The Shield reruns she's in.
