star trak... (spoilers for UK)...

thread to discuss the new season....or if you want the new album by the neptunes..lol

this was a pretty ill episode...lol...i thought the t-pol un shirting was a little forced though....i guess they're like setting trip up with her...

the thing i don't get is that...are those the roughest looking special ops star fleet has??...kinda sorry looking...although they kicked ass...not scary enough...need some tats or mohawks or something...
 
Pfft the T'Pol and Trip scene was hilariously funny 😀.

Overall I liked the episode, nothing big though like they promised but the ending did give me a reason to tune in again. Since how can a planet that was destroyed 120 years ago be destroyed 400 years into the future? I have tons of theories so don't wanna hear any others but interesting to see what they have come up with.

The MACOs did look kinda gay in those suits, pyjamas party with toyguns. Wonder what will happen next?
 
lol...they did look like pyjamas...they should be all decked out in black...with dark trench coats...pull a matrix...that would be scary...

would'nt there be like a suleiban member..those guys are like one man armies...

Well it could be worse, there could have been pink elephants on their clothing.

To have a Suluban in your crew would be kinda cool, lots of genetic enhancements and stuff. Would be cool if they made Sillik a recurring character onboard the Enterprise.
 
you know who i'd liked better as a suleiban...malcom...he seemed sneaky and deceptive and shiz...way cooler than a skinny english dude...

i'm getting sick of the whole enslavement attempt storyline...they've done that for the whole franchise like 30 times...lets get down to some bad ass space fighting and hand to hand combat with exotic species....as well as the alien one night stand...less enslavement....more hittin that pavement....lol

Archer is just trying to break Kirks record of being captured in every second episode, gota give the guy credit for that? Personally I would love to see T'Pol get jiggy like Kirk did, exploring her Vulcan emotions and all. Maybe a few false alarm Pon'Far.

Malcolm as a Suluban, well he was surgically altered in one episode to look like one, lol was funny.
 
This is the first Season I'm watching of anything having to do with Star Trek. I decided to watch a random episode a week or so ago, and I really liked it - I seemed to be liking lots of sci-fi shows lately.

Anyway, I watched the Season Premiere - and I have to say that I don't really have a clue as to what is going on, but it's all very exciting. So, some questions for you guys: What exactly happened to Earth? Was it completely destroyed - and why was it destroyed - something about Earth attacking another planet in the next 400 years?? What's the name of the character who's sister died (was it his sister?) ?

I hope I'm not asking a lot, and I could look this all up by myself, but I think you guys could explain it to me better. I've missed out on so much of this series. That's a lot more dvds I'm going to have to buy now.😀

Earth was attacked by a probe from a race called 'The Xindi'. A faction from the future had alerted them that 400 years from now their planet would be destroyed by Humans. So they wanted to annihilate earth before earth could annihilate them. The weapon that was sent was a prototype and the real one is currently being built. Which is why they are in the Expanse, to find the weapon and destroy it.

The character whos sister dies is called Charles Tucker the Third, AKA Trip (as in triple).

And no earth wasnt destroyed, they just created a Grand Canyon version 2.0.

And you guys were mentioning the Trip and T'Pol scene - I thought that was so cute.🙂 Has either of them hooked up before; with each other, I mean?
 
OK!!!! STOP RIGHT HERE!!!! I couldn't even finish reading your posts I;m so excited. Soulgasm...you really shouldn't have gotten this started! If anyone wants to talk about Star Trek...PM ME!!!!!! I'd like to start off saying that everything any of you know about Buffy/Angel, Double it and thats how much I like and know about Star Trek. Major Trekker here!!!!

Tripp and T'pol haven't 'hooked up' with anyone. Although there was an episode where Malcom and Tripp were hitting on 2 alien chicks who turned out to be like (Not shapeshifters 'don't get me started') but something that can change shape. (somehting morphs) I can't remember.

Personally I love all Star Trek (Includng Enterprise) but I do think they screwed up the timeline with the whole 'Temporal Cold War' but then again I think its very intresting.

Now you don't have to believe me but I think the producers used one of my ideas in a way. I sent them an idea for an episode. It went along the lines of 'I think Enterprise should go explore an unknown nebulea where they get stuck in there after an attack by an alien ship. They survive, Destroy the ship, and have damaged engines. No problem right? Wrong. Something is different about this nebulea. The 'LAWS OF PHYSICS DON'T APPLY'. When Enterprise trys to make a quick warp jump to get out after undergoing radiation and illusions they split the ship into many parts. By this I mean there are more hten one Enterprises. There are like 20-50. They all are stuck in the nebulea but in different timelines and Universes. OK the list goes on but the whole nebulea part and laws of physics not applying. I swear the took from me!

Well I was so excited! I have obsesive Compulsive disorder or something like that and when people talk about it I have like a natural need to tell people how much I love Star Trek. I have no problem with Buffy/Angel anymore since I get all my energy for it out here. No prob with Res Evil cause I use another chat board. But I'm still looking for a great Enterprise site. Plus there are like 20 billion topics on Star Trek that if I did find one I'd be so overwhelmed I'd try and get through all of them in minutes. Know what I'm saying? Probobly not. But like I said if any of you wanna talk about Star Trek or have any questions....ask me!

Can you guys be a bit careful with the "Enterprise" spoilers please - we Brits aren't likely to see it for a few months yet and we can't all get to download it...

As an aside....man, that Captain Kirk would dip his johnson in just about ANYTHING. None of the other captains ever came close to his level of libido management. Lol.

Plus, he had cool fighting music.

Really pissed me off when they killed him in "GENERATIONS".
 
lol...so far...archer hasn't dipped his johnson into anything...thats hella p bitch...i don't even remember janeway getting freaky...lol...if they got her freaked up...that would make the show a little more digestable...even though it is kate mulgrew...lol...
 
yes finally another Trek thread! anyway I was a little disappointed with this first episode back especially after the season finale. I agree with the concensus so far, the "Marines" did look a little wimpy but at least they did kick some ass.
Gasm I agree 100% its enough already with the capured bit, you see it over and over again. I hate diceting the first episode since it should really be viewed as a part of a whole season or a part of a mini story line.
I personally think that they should have explored the Archer/T'Pol romance or at the very least they could have both Tripp and Archer going after T'Pol, it would add another dimension.
I do like the new T'Pol look, not to different but different enough to make it notioceable.
Oh and where is Mayweather, I know he is there I see him for the 2 seconds an eppy but could the brother have a line or 2?
Did anyone else notice the beginning music is a little different, like it had a more rockish thing going on, certainly did not make it any better.

p.s. Xander 8472 - I am glad that someone else has given some props to species 8472, they where the only good thing to come from Voyager oh and Seven of 9! expect a pm cause I am alsways up for a little trek discussion.
