Star Wars Episode 2.5

I've just watched the first part of the cartoon "Clone Wars" - shown for the 1st time in the UK today. Very impressed.

For the uninitiated - it tells the story of what happens between Episode 2 and Episode 3.

Looks good in a fashionable anime/normal cartoonish way. As a Star Wars fanboy from 1977 I can't wait for the rest of it . Shame it's 20 five minute eps rather than five 20 minute eps though. Kids today got no attention span 😉

Damn it! I forgot they were going to be showing those on the Cartoon Network! Thanks for the reminder, Mr. Pointy! I'm psyched to see 'em.
Although I'm probably doomed to waiting until (or when) they're released on DVD, because I am pathologically incabable of turning in to watch something on tv at a set time. Same Bat time, same Bat channel is probably the least effective marketing gimmick ever devised when targeting the likes of me, since I never know what channel I'm watching and there's a good chance I'm unsure of the time.

I think I'd have a lot more success if I just sat down once a month and picked all the shows I wanted to watch. I'd give the list to a large, swarthy Scott who I would put on retainer, and have him kick in my door at the appropriate times and wrench me away from whatever mundane activites were occupying me, forcibly setting me in front of the tv and turning it to the correct station.

Or I could keep on keepin' on and stick with the non-time-specific demands of DVD, books, video games and the internet.
