Unless you are living under a rock you have probably heard that the new Star Wars trailer is out.. but what is even better is that the new George Lucas Special Edition Star Wars trailer is out! It is awesome.

This is just amazing! Way better than the original one. There's so much going on in every frame! It's just so... dense!

But seriously, I wasn't very impressed by the actual trailer.

yeah, I've seen this. Thankfully, this will never happen (and hopefully, since Disney owns everything Star Wars, we might get a blu-ray version of the original three movies in their original format [without any of Lucas' subsequent alterations]). Maybe? Hopefully? I hope so.

I really, really, really hope so. Thankfully, my brother has the theater (or almost theater) editions on DVD. But the picture quality really sucks. It's really terrible. The original versions restored and on blu-ray would be the bomb. They should look at what Universal did with Jaws. That's how you do it.

Will be honest and say that I not a Star Wars fan. I find them overlong and just extremely dull, and too effects heavy. The Empire Strikes Back is the exception to that rule, it is easily the best of those films.

But if we have to have more Star Wars films I think they have got a pretty good director to reboot the series. So in an odd sort of a way I do have high expectations of this and think that it could possibley be the best SW to date. Agree with JCoatsworth that the trailer was not the best, but then I guess the aim was just to tease people and not give much away, and it did that at least.
