I'll also be at Bad Girls/Wild Boys 🙂 Looking forward to it as the conventions always make for a fun weekend 😀

It will be interesting to see if the line-up does change within the next few months though

Tickets are still onsale if anyone else thinks they can make it 🙂

Yup if anyone fancies coming along, please do!! Cons are great fun and you shall get the added pleasure of meeting Peg and myself 😉

How long will tickets be on sale for? ... I Could try for MAY... you people could meet the ducks... just need an idea on cost for the whole weekend... will they charge for autographs? will they? I heard some do!

Normally at a convention per guest you are allowed 1 personal item for signing (included in your entrance fee) and 1/2 bought items (which could be 8x10 pics on sale or your own photoshoot pic - both of which usually cost £10 each)

Obviously the amount of items is specified based on the number of people that need to be signed for as it takes a while to get everyone done.

I wouldn't leave buying tickets too late, I don't know personally how many tickets have sold but I do know that the hotel is getting full for that weekend and that Starfury have been advertising in a lot of scifi magazines recently. This then gives people without the joys of the internet a chance to buy tickets 🙂

Don't forget that there are only weekend tickets available for this particular convention.

Tickets went on sale at BAD GIRLS last November. So far over 500 tickets have been sold. We are limiting ticket numbers to 800. We have also sold 170 of the 200 available hotel rooms; I am in negotiations with the hotel for an increase in our allocation, or for the use of an over flow hotel.

Tickets are priced at £60 for adults, £25 for under 14's (but they need to be accompanied by a paid up adult). The ticket price will rise to £65 at the end of this month.

Attendees will be entitled to get up to 3 items per guest signed during the autograph session, one of which may be a personal item. Pictures will be on sale at £10.

We will also have a photo session at which you can have your picture taken with the actor. Photo's with the guest will start at £10. The picture will be developed that day, and pre-signed by the actor.

Thanks so much for all the info! 😀 I will see how I am after my operation and may earn some money to go 😉

There are now just 12 hotel rooms left at the Thistle Hotel during BAD GIRLS & WILD BOYS, so if you want a hotel room and haven't booked one yet, please get your booking form off now!

I'm having a meeting with the hotel this week, and will see about the possobility of increasing our allocated number of rooms, and getting details on the over flow hotel. Will keep you all posted.

Sean Harry

Thanks Sean 🙂

I've got my rooms all sorted 😀

P.S It was nice chatting to you at the weekend 🙂

Fickle much!!! 😛

Thanks Sean for the update on the hotels. Looking forward to getting confirmation for a room though and trying not to panic too much 🙂

I enjoyed the chats at the weekend and we appreciate all your hard work 🙂 Now just trying not to wish the months away 😀

I read about a buffy and angel weekend in London. I'm not sure if I should go. I heard Giles was coming, but I'm from the Netherlands so it would be a very expensive weekend.
I read the discriptions but I'm wondering if it's worth it and if I woul be the " only" visitor thats 25+. (I'm 27)

Can someone who has visited a convention last year or so tell me how it's been?

I think the convention you have read about is Sector 14's Eclipse There are more details of it in this thread - Here

There is also a link there to the official site 🙂

I was'nt at last years as i was ill, but my friends were and loved it. Was at Nocturnal 2K - this was my first convention and Tony Head was there also. It was a great weekend and he was an amazing guest!

Thanks. I meant eclipse indeed.
I'm still not sure if I'll go. I read there was an event in Holland maybe I'll go there first. But I'd rather go in England, Seems more real to me, I don't know.......

Well this will be my 5th Buffy convention since June 2000 and I really enjoy them 🙂 I'm 28 and I tend to party with a wide age of people 🙂 There will certainly be people ranging well between 18 and 40 😀

If you do go to Eclipse you won't be the only person from the Netherlands there as my friend's boyfriend is going and he's from your country too 😀

There was someone else announced last week.... the guy who played Angel's 'apprentice' in 'Somnambulist' I think
