Just saw this 😀 I absolutely love you guys when you speak french, you are so cute and adorable 🙂 . But I absolutely hate me when I speak English, I will never be able to speak English with an American in front of me, my accent is too ridiculous, I would be ashamed.

@Antho No way, French accents are cool! My natural vocal style does not work for French at all - I really struggle with it, being Scottish, but then it makes German easy for me to pronounce, with all their 'ach' noises. That can be very similar to Scots vocalisation.

Oh I'm sure it's must be fun for you to listen us french people speaking english with our sooo terrible accent 😀😀 I really can't take myself seriously when I speak english, I sound like an idiot 🙂 I have more facility to prounounce Spanish for example

Honestly, quite well. Good pronounciation. This video makes me wonder if they are others videos of Buffyverse actors speaking french ?

Kristin Scott Thomas and Jodie Foster both speak good French. Of course Scott Thomas has appeared in many French films. Foster had a cameo in A Very Long Engagement. Sorry I can't find a clip with her in. A Very Long Engagement - Wikipedia

There is a TV program called "Who Do You Think You Are?" which goes through the genealogy of some famous stars including some of the most dramatic parts of their ancestor's lives. One was Brooke Shields who not only speaks impeccable French but is descended from the French royal family (If I recall, she is a direct descendant of Louis XIV). If it hadn't been for that pesky French Revolution, she would be Queen Brooke of France.

Lisa Kudrow, who plays Phoebe in Friends is fluent in French. In the episode where Joey pretends to speak French to get an audition and Phoebe speaks to the director in French, she didn't learn that. Her husband is French.
